A distributed conspiracy exists. People committed to the status quo--some more overt than others, i.e. Hillary Clinton and John Podesta. It's very rare such evidence of a widespread conspiracy emerges so blatantly, last case I can think of is Big Tobacco and their own evil and the massive amount of material they revealed in the end. Individuality is always influenced by society, and society influences people to think a certain way. Stack up the media, academia, and such, and you develop a network of people unconsciously producing support for an ideology that determines how society is run. The Big Tobacco conspiracy is a fantastic example, and is comparable to how to control the "debate" in society--Big Oil right now is doing the same thing with global warming as Big Tobacco did, we just don't have the blatant proof yet. Now, tie those together--Big Oil, Big Tobacco, Clinton/Podesta, throw in Big Pharma too and their goal of keeping people constantly in need of their overpriced drugs. None were necessarily working in alliance with each other. But both were committed to the same goal--to screw everyone in favour of themselves, and make millions (if not billions) off of it. That's just the surface of things. People acting toward one goal (dominate the world in favour of normal people and make billions), controlling the course of history in the process--they don't even need to be allied. They've set on their goal, and inadvertently, they will win unless things are done. Brexit and the Trump election threw a monkeywrench into this, but both are very easy to work around, as we shall soon see.
A correct world system could make it so none of these groups have power. Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, and Big Oil would be buried six feet under as all the executives are bankrupted and forced to pay damages for all the harm they've caused (again, in Big Tobacco's case, but those fuckers are in China and the Third World now), the globalists (globalism as a way to benefit people like Soros than humanity, like true globalism should) would be in jail, everything would exist in relative harmony. The problem with revolutionary societies is that they eventually lose their revolutionary vigilance. It's possible to prevent this. After all, take the example of China--the concept of the Mandate of Heaven preserved Chinese society from the Qin Dynasty (at earliest) onward. I hate that, because that idea implies there cannot be an end to history like I envision and want (for the sake of people caught up in shit they can't understand, as is seen daily now), but is a check and balance on society, and thus might be a necessary evil. Once again, replace the current conspiracy running society with one which promoting this.
By the way, Char had a point in Char's Counterattack, and likewise Full Frontal had a point in Gundam Unicorn. I wouldn't have done the same in those situations if I were Char, as much as I fancy myself a Char clone, but they still had a point.

It's true. Trump will be what Obama was to the actual left-wing--a complete failure. The media will present him as a far-right leader (like Obama was a far-left leader) despite reality showing completely otherwise.
