The worrying thing about archaeology today, aside from the revisionism to fit modern 'circumstances' and the fact the Anglo-Saxon period is now oddly referred to as 'early Medieval'???, is that whole swathes are being left covered up for 'future generations'.
Don't they realise if our Governments continue on the path we are on now there will be no 'future generations' to take any interest? In the London Boroughs there is very selective teaching of history, due to the fact that the classes have no connection with the past of this island. Anything 'British' is instantly thought of as 'colonialist' or 'imperialist' so is straight off the curriculum. Our own white children have deliberately had their heritage revised and great sections omitted altogether. The lefties Utopia of wave after wave of mixed race kids coming out of the education system, having no identity, means the archaeology will just lie there to eventually dissolve away.
