So, by this same reasoning, all Christians would be happy in a caring, sharing Christian environment, which, of course, means there has never, in all of history, been a war or conflict between one type of Christian and another. The fact that anyone even remotely familiar with European history will now be laughing so hard they'll be in danger of having a hernia should tell you the flaw there.
Muslims of one denomination are often in hot water in Muslim countries where the other denomination predominates.
Just like back then when Catholic countries were dangerous territory for Protestants and vice versa.
I'm with Mister Spak on this one. I think he's correct, and it's sarcasm. If I didn't think that, I might say something politically incorrect, like:
"Fraser left an indelible scar on the Australian psyche with his open arms to Lebanese Muslim 'refugees' in the mid 70s. We suffer the consequences to this minute. Never again."

I don't see any sarcasm, for those who are arguing. And Syrian muslims are certainly not happy with living under ISIS, or in a war-torn country in general. Why do you think they want to leave if they'd really be happier there?

Sorry to disappoint you, but our governments (starting with our conservative party, and then adopted by our Labor party and then intensified by our conservative party when they returned to power) have been riding an anti-asylum seeking by boat policy for the last decade and a half. And the community largely supports it (~over 60% either think the treatment is right or insufficiently harsh). Sad but true.

The Muslim refugees are clearly not happy there, otherwise they wouldn't be fleeing it would they? Those escaping Bashar al-Assad's regime don't seem to be enamoured with living in the Islamic State controlled territory. When you see results that contradict your expected outcome, then surely the logical step is to reassess your position, no?
I seriously doubt most Muslims would want to live under IShits. All they would have to do is say something a bit off-base, or piss off the wrong person and the next thing they know, their head is quite literally in the gutter.
