The thought process of an atheist is a list of irrational beliefs and a way to put off God. Be amazed at the evidence around us at www.AtheistMovie.com

It seem that you use the following words in negative way to demean atheism: creator, prophet, religion, miracle, belief.
too bad you suck at equivalences.
...
Ray Comfort is an anti atheist troll who somehow gets paid to troll atheists.
Got to give the man some credit, that's one hell of a trick to get paid to troll people.
Inside the mind of a Ray Comfort fan:
Magic Man In The Sky is the Creator,
Comfort is the prophet,
Bananas are the religion,
faith is the miracle-worker,
and the creed is "I believe that the Big Bang Theory says 'nothing created everything'. I'm therefore intelligent."
COMFORTISM DESTROYED WITH *ONE* SCIENTIFIC QUESTION: "HAVE YOU SEEN NON-DOMESTICATED BANANAS?"
The COMFORT DELUSION.
I've seen every one of their "Atheism destroyed with one question" over the years.
Without looking, is this Sorbos evangelistic tour and the mic drop of "If an Atheists don't believe in God, why are they mad at him? (stage act: remember arrogant smirk)
P.S.
Ben Stein did that one on his Expelled promotion, every stop years ago. Damn Dominionist echo chamber.
@Raspberry
Otherwise, Banana Boy would have to get a job .
Just another snake-oil huckster. Unfortunately there are still those in the 21st Century who''l still buy it.
So who's deluded , Ray Cumfart...?!
Perhaps I was: into thinking you were good in "Hercules" & Andromeda"; Gene Roddenberry would be ashamed of you, Kevin Sorearse.
You are dead to me now.
I'm too lazy to find a proper retort for this crap right now. And Cumfart isn't worth the brainpower anyway. Still, I feel like I should say something appropriate...
So, something something banana, something something liar.
Can't get more accurate than that with him.
EDIT: As several people pointed out, Ray's not making any sense. At least less than usual. He claims he has the ultimate question that will destroy atheism forever. Yet while that would give him and his side an instant win if he were to reveal it, he hides it in a stupid movie that costs 20 bucks. No atheist would bother to spend good money on that crap, so Ray's really not accomplishing anything at all. Is his greed that big it overrides his common sense? Or is it his stupidity?
@Doubting Thomas
"You'd think after talking to atheists for so many years he'd understand this by now. So it must be dishonesty."
Not neccesarily. Fundies mental power is so limited they are unable to understand anything that is not like religion. They're like a fish that never learns that its reflection is only a reflection and keeps attacking the mirror until it's face is smashed up. Fundies are unable to process the concepts that go along with atheism.
I'm not saying he's not lying, I'm saying it's not the only explanation.
Ray:
I went to your website, but I couldn't download the movie. I must have missed the part of the bible where Jesus tells his disciples to go out and convert people, so long as they hand over $20.
Seems to me that if you really wanted to bring people to your god, you would provide this movie free, and ask believers for donations to cover it. We're not going to pay just to listen to you babble your nonsense.
"Nature is the Creator"
Sounds like Ray has gotten atheism mixed up with pantheism.
"Darwin is the prophet"
Let's ignore all the rest of the scientists and all of the fossils- including all the ones that fuel comes from.
"Evolution is the religion."
Actually it has been proven with something called evidence.
"DISAPPOINTED!"______Kevin Sorbo, ham actor
@ Blue_J
Or, That's quite a movie.
Give us a clue, Ray, what is that "one scientific question"? Still waiting for Ham's AiG "research team" to come up with one? I award you one golden banana for the "most improbable movie trailer of all time".
Ray, your stupidity & your desperation are both palpable. And mentioning Kevin Friggin' Sorbo is NOT a good selling point, since he's a hack devoid of all talent.
Maybe this gem will win a few Razzies next year.
Evolution isn't a religion. What would cause Ray to admit there's no God? Absolutely nothing. What would cause someone to abandon evolution? A completely jumbled fossil record, with human, horse, trilobite, moschops, dunkelosteus and stegosaurus fossils all mixed together.
The Delusional Ray Comfort:
Believes in God because money!
Believes in Jesus because it's the safest choice in the US.
Believes God looks like a man even though God never needed to feed Himself, or dig a hole, etc., or accomplish anything manually - UNLESS HE EVOLVED INTO THE ROLE OF SUPREME BEING.
Believes in magic (miracles) because he has no understanding of statistics or probability (common problem on this planet).
Believes God created everything out of nothing, and humans out of dirt, and thinks that makes him intelligent just because lots of people believe that too.
Judeo-Christianity and Islam destroyed with one question: Where did God go to school? Since he didn't have a mom, she didn't teach him all that magic shit... so?
Judeo-Christianity and Islam destroyed with one question: If everything in the Universe required a creator, why didn't a complex being like God require a creator?
I could go on.
Darwin is a prophet? What did he predict, exactly? He made some hypotheses that turned out to be true and became theories but it wasn't divine inspiration or supernatural premonition. Rather it was simply hard work and intelligent speculation that got him there. And in the grand scheme of things, as great a scientist as Darwin was, he pales in comparison to Newton and Einstein. If there were ever such a thing as a prophet in science it'd be those two whose ideas keep being validated long after they are dead. Hell, we recently discovered that Einstein was right about gravity waves.
Time is a miracle worker
There's no miracle in a long, drawn-out progression. A miracle would be if someone snapped their fingers and a wolf evolved into every single breed of canid in the world (as the Creation museum suggests). But mutations accumulating is no more miraculous than a river carving out a canyon or the wind creating a giant sand dune.
and the creed is "I believe that nothing created everything. Therefore I am intelligent"
Not only is that a complete non-sequitur, but there is no creed about what created what else. Some buddhists are atheistic, some people believe that the universe is a bubble in a larger universe, and Raelians are atheistic creationists. Other than not believing in divine beings there is no other view atheists are required to share. And they're only requied to share that one because that's the definition of being an atheist. If you believe in any gods at all then you are, by definition, not an atheist.
The incessant need to break such vast ideologies into the most basic components and phrases is proof enough as to why your logic is rotten. We cannog simply sum uo the process of life and the very fubction and journey of man into one neat little bow of a sentence.
The only thing one vague "scientific" question will destroy is the hope for any sort of well worded counter argument or meaningful discussion between minds...
Ah yes, as they say, ignorance is bliss or something like that.
It is interesting that a so-called representative of 70% of the population (in the US) is so terrified of 6%-7% of the population.
There's ten of them to every one of us so we have them intellectually outnumbered. At least we understand the questions.
@Mr Spak: But they are all jumbled together. They all drowned in the same flood. All those rocks are the same age.
But of course they're not. The ordered rock strata were observed by creationists long before Darwin. They were even the ones who named them (cretaceous, Permian, Jurassic, etc.)
I didn't know that every atheist has the thought process of the most stereotypical Reddit atheist ever.
What's next, "in this moment, I am euphoric?"
Atheists, like women, are not one hive-mind who all think alike, and it's the lack of evidence for gods and the irrationality of the Bible, that often make us into atheists. Many of us don't choose to be atheists; religion just makes less and less sense the more you learn about it.
If Nature is the creator, then that created everything. Nature is not nothing. Please try to be consistent in the same paragraph, at least.
Ya know, bananaman, no-one thinks as much about Darwin as fundies do, actually.
Time is just time, not a miracle-worker.
Which scientific question is that, Bananaman? You did so "well" with the banana that we're all DYING to know what you've come up with now. Sadly I have a lot of paint-drying to watch, so I might not be able to make the time to watch this...
Kevin Who? Has any of his movies made it to Europe, or are we all too "heathen" to appreciate them?
Oh Ray's God, the lies here.
Inside the mind of an atheist
Ray, you can't even tell us what goes on in your mind.
Atheism destroyed with one scientific question
And then immediately backed up by actual science, research and all!
Kevin Sorbo - Actor
If we stretch the definition of 'actor" a couple thousand light years, maybe.
@Swede
Kevin Sorbo played Hercules on American TV in the '90's, the same show that gave us Xena and Lucy Lawless. Also played a strawman atheist on some piece of god-botherer echo chamber music, and has long since come out as a frummer.
The following paragraph is my assessment of Ray Comfort I wrote earlier this year, since this appears to be a good demonstration.
I think it might be best to think of people like Ray Comfort as parts of what German experts call the "psych market" (Psychomarkt), like Scientology and various phony self-help gurus. Basically, it is alternative psychiatry: They target not just the gullible, but the psychologically vulnerable (in their case, those who suffer from guilt or shame issues in particular), offering a fast and easy solution (when you accept Jesus, all your sins are absolved and you become a good person instantly!). This might lead to a temporary improvement via the placebo effect, as well as regression to the mean, but that will wear of sooner or later. Therefore you need follow-up courses (No, it is not you who chose his religion just to run away from your sin, it's the atheists! Your marriage is falling apart not because you married prematurely just to be finally allowed to have sex, but because of gay marriage, but fortunately, here is 200% reliable advice how to lead a godly marriage!). And if you come to your senses and realise that it is a very dangerous scam, it is your fault because you did not believe strongly enough (were never really saved in the first place).
If Darwin is a prophet, then you also have to consider every scientist that ever proposed a hypothesis which turned out to be correct a prophet, and electricity, hydraulics, combustion, etc. religions.
@John
" (cretaceous, Permian, Jurassic,"
Creationists do not accept the validity of these categories because they are claimed to be different multi million year old ages., while the earth actually is 6000 years old and all those cretaceous-Permian-Jurassic fossils drowned in a flood all at once. So the fossil record is completely jumbled and evolution is proved false.
@nazani14
"If Darwin is a prophet"
Considering how - in his early years - he was in training to become part of the clergy of the Church of England...:
image
...then for whom ?
That is the ultimate paradox for Ray Cumfart. Meanwhile, the C-of-E - as they did when "On the Origin of Species" was first published, and sold more than the Bible at the time - acknowledge Evolution to be scientific fact to this day.
If they can, what's your excuse, other than to have to get a proper job, eh Banana Boy...?!
How can the Church of England be Atheists, Cray-Ray...?! [/hyper-paradox]
I first searched for "evidence" considering it's of central importance but had few mentions:
"Be amazed at the evidence around us"
Everyone here understood that this was only a slogan, but as Swede wrote, precisely, your "evidence" was found to be lacking. It's what would really be necessary to convince reality-based people about the existence of your favorite deity. Noone will swallow that atheism is a justification, except the already gullible auditors your misleading propaganda is designed to target.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
