The problem with america today is that we've protected every religion except Christianity. For instance, we teach aginst a God in public school. We teach athesim every time we teach evolution. Also we make allowances for muslim teachings to try to appear multi-cultural. The only religion that the state no longer accepts or recgonizes is Christianity.

No, we don't "teach atheism" every time someone mentions evolution. We do demonstrate that total whackjob defiance-of-all-reality literalism is ... just that. The vast majority of Christians, not being illiterate mouth-breathers, have no problem with that.

gawd, I wish this was true. Then I could reply, "One down, a shitload to go."
1. other religions believe in a god
2. evolution is not atheism and atheism is not a religion
3. understanding other cultures in a Christian dominated country is a good thing
4. the cities, counties, states, and country still show many signs of christian belief
Yeah, America doesn't accept or recognize Christianity AT ALL. That's why all our money says "In God We Trust," God is mentioned in the Pledge of Allegiance, people swear in on the Bible in court, and stores are filled with Christmas-related items every single December and Easter-related junk every spring.
Douche.

Well, to be fair, having sex in Health class would be awfully distracting, no matter who is teaching the class.

Not enforcing your bronze age mythology does not constitute lack of recognition. Mentioning a religion does not constitute protection. Notice that two of your sentences contradict each other.
As for the third sentence, atheism can't help it if it has been kicking your myth's ass for 500 years. Atheism works, your fairy tale doesn't. Deal.
...and stores are filled with Christmas-related items every single December...
And November, and October...
"protected every religion except Christianity"
An army rarely needs bodyguards...
"we teach aginst a God in public school"
LOLWUT. Not teaching about God at all isn't the same thing as teaching that God is not.
Where do fundies find these schools? Never ever heard of a teacher teaching against God in a public school. Evolution is science not religion and many Christians(gasp) believe in evolution(sorry to burst your anti-intellectual redneck "real Christian "). Oh yeah, the only religion the state no longer accepts is Christianity??? Try telling that to the atheist or evolution chaplain in the military, when you find one!PS Since you appear to be an idiot, I'll tell you. They don't exist, 90% of all military chaplains are CHRISTIANS, you know the ones the state doesn't recognize!!!!
Yes, the state oppresses the majority religion Christianity because it does not allow said religion to trump all others. Change the fucking record, will you? You sound like a man whining for his right to give birth (cue Life of Brian).
The schools don't teach "against a God." Atheism and evolution are not related in any manner (except in your pointy little head). And yes, occasionally the existence of other religions may be recognized, but as historic fact. Their dogmas and beliefs are not promulgated. Stop your whining.
Whenever I read this I remember my public school upbringing in the Yankee Heathen North of the US of A...
1.) We were taught about creationism, in addition to evolution - IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
2.) We were taught about religious abstinence and how it was good to be a virgin, of course by then many weren't, but we also all were taught to put a condom on a banana - IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Funny, we weren't taught any other history of the world BUT science and that christian stuff... (Thanks for the pie chart.)
For instance, we teach aginst a God in public school.
Teaching against God in public schools is illegal. The Lemon test says "The government's action must not have the primary effect of either advancing or inhibiting religion" So either schools are violating the law, or Whitney is full of crap. I suggest the latter.
We teach athesim every time we teach evolution.
No. Evolution doesn't say there's no God. It just disagrees with a literal reading of Genesis. Plenty of people believe in God without believing in talking snakes and women made out of ribs.
If anything, Christianity needs to be LESS protected in America. Too often Christian idiots are allowed to run around promoting abstinence only education and intelligent design, forcing people to waste their time and money putting them down.
[The problem with america today is that we've protected every religion except Christianity.]
You're religion is also protected under the first amendment.
[For instance, we teach aginst a God in public school.]
No, they don't. And if a teacher were to mistreat theist students, they would probably be fired.
[We teach athesim every time we teach evolution.]
Darein was a christian you know.
[Also we make allowances for muslim teachings to try to appear multi-cultural.]
Yeah, because diffrent religions and cultures are evil.
[The only religion that the state no longer accepts or recgonizes is Christianity.]
Bull.
The ACLU of Nevada (2006) defended the free exercise and free speech rights of evangelical Christians to preach on the sidewalks of Las Vegas. When the County government refused to change its unconstitutional policy, the ACLU filed suit in federal court.
The ACLU of Southern California (2005) defended an evangelical scholar who monitored the fundraising practices of several ministries and their leaders after a defamation suit was brought against him in order to silence him.
The ACLU of Iowa (1997) represented Conservative Christians in Clarke County and won the right to force a county referendum on gambling.

The problem with America today is that nobody reads the constitution, and let religious fanatics rant on about "Americas Christian Roots" which is totally untrue.
Authored by American diplomat Joel Barlow in 1796, the following treaty was sent to the floor of the Senate, June 7, 1797, where it was read aloud in its entirety and unanimously approved. John Adams, having seen the treaty, signed it and proudly proclaimed it to the Nation.
