It has come to my attention that the wingnuts are trying to change the definition of racism.
Apparently a racist to a wingnut is someone who points out that a wingnut says disparaging things about people of a minority race.
In other words, if you are a wingnut, then a "true" racist is someone who calls you on your racism.
If you don't want to be called a racist, don't call the president the "Negro-in-Chief" or "Oblackguy."

He has no point except the one on his head, 1158091. Given the right's long history of blatant racism, it's quite appropriate to watch their utterance closely. This doesn't give Democrats a pass on racism, of course, but racists are less likely to identify with a party that has strongly backed civil rights for decades.
Also, not every criticism of Obama attracts accusations of covert racism - just those which have no substantive content. Criticism based on Obama's actions or policies? Fine; any politician expects that. But many of the attacks on Obama, including this one, are only angry fulminations about how much they hate him and long for revenge. They have no point to make beyond "Waaah! We're pissed because we no longer control absolutely everything!"
