I'm afraid I cannot completely agree. There is a difference between not liking someone, which is simply being indifferent to them and disliking them, which is actually the contrary of being indifferent.
Racists do not simply not like people of other ethnicities, they actively dislike them for no other reason than their belonging to another group, without rational and objective justification.

Oh, I completly agree. To all intents and purposes, this person is most likely a casual racist who thinks that they are good to everyone, but who actually harbor more direct dislike or even hatred to those that are different.I can see how my admittedly milquetoast first comment can come of as saying that simply do not like other races, when in reality, they go out of their way to be against those other races in general.
What do donuts have to do with this??
Edit: Nvm, I sort of see it. Still, donuts ? Really? I want some now...
Why do we have an issue with people being racist? Because the harm dome by racism on every level of society is a proven, obvious fact. It leads to people being persecuted, punished, abused, marginalized, and even killed outright for arbitrary difference in skin tone, and you're "ok with it." The problem lies with you, not others.
Confused?
