The gospel brings good news to homosexual men and women.
Gay theologians tell us that the traditional gospel message is a "bad tree," bringing forth the bad fruit of depression, apostasy and even suicide among gay men and women.
To the contrary, the message of the gospel brings forgiveness, freedom, hope and deliverance, as countless thousands of ex-gays can attest, by which I mean followers of Jesus who no longer practice homosexuality. Some of them have even become heterosexual, but even those who have not found a change in their sexual desires have found wholeness and satisfaction in the Lord.

When is it finally going to get in that thick skull of yours? There are no ex-homosexuals!! Just like there are no ex-heterosexuals!! You're born with that sexual interest and you die with it! What actually happens is that those poor, unfortunate gays are at best indoctrinated by fundies so hard that they are forced to surpress a big part of themselves and cope with it by deluding themselves they have been "cured".
Honestly, this sickens me so much you can't even imagine it. These things make me think organized religion and fundamentalism is just beyond redemption and should just be put to sleep. And the people trying to force gays to be "cured" should be mind raped themselves until they become asexual.
Likewise, those things make me convinced not everybody's opinion should be protected by free speech.
Oh, and Dr. Brown (who I seriously doubt is a real doctor)? I think, nay, am 100% convinced, that those theologists know your religion and it's bible better than all fundies combined. You should perhaps listen to them instead of those insane hatemongers.

I'd happily see christianity flushed down the memory hole, if it means that non-christians, women, Atheists and the LGBT community can live peacefully without your judgments or daily harassment.

So all the good stuff comes from the big Sky Daddy, and all bad stuff comes from humans. Yeah. So god made us in a particular way, with certain sexual desires, but some of those desires are "wrong" and we have to deal with these "wrong" desires god gave us.
I urge you not to define yourself by the bullshit being shovelled by Brown and his ilk, but by what you yourself feel is correct.

There's no such thing as a gay person who becomes straight. There are bisexual people and there are people who get into sham marriages to save face in their family. But, even if your scam conversions actually worked why did your god make them be born gay in the first place and hate them for it? It's like making people left handed and then hating them for it. To be fair, that's the same message for everyone who isn't part of the ultra-special group of followers who happen to be part of the One True Denomination. The other denominations? Even the ones that disagree on one trivial thing? They're all blasphemous sinners who deserve to be roasted for eternity.

Look at anything written by former believers, and they'll tell you exactly what needs they had that belief in Yahweh either could not or would not meet. Also, according to the Bible, Yahweh hates gays so much that he ordered them put to death, and wrote a law saying he got to burn them in Hell if they didn't feel terrible for every tiny attraction they had. Why call him loving? Why not just do as the Westboro Baptist Church does and march under a Biblical banner?

Well, your J-boy - who hung around with twelve men - ordered others to 'Love your fellow man ', so I'm afraid that even Gay Christians can redefine & rewrite the Bible; it's what you homophobic subhumans have been doing all this time, so if you think you can tell others what to do, then so can said theologians , never mind those LGBT believers . I don't define myself by my sexual desires. I'm gay, yes. But I'm many, many other things. It is only ignorant homophobes who believe I live my life day to day, second to second, as if homosexuality is my only existence.
What about the "good news" of your gospel that says we are to kill disobedient children, kill non-believers, kill witches, kill women that aren't virgins on their wedding night, kill those that work on the sabbath, kill those that eat shellfish, and kill those that wear mixed fabrics?
Or they could realise that such "therapies" are futile, pointless and, most importantly, they are damaging to the victim. Homosexuality shouldn't be a big deal, it's a trait that is no more important to a person's personality than their eye colour, but you morons continuously fail to realise this.
I'm pretty sure gay theologians just ignore the bits of the bible that they disagree with or don't like, y'know like the rest of the theologians.

Here's the problem. When fundies say "ex-gay," they mean people that have, perhaps temporarily, given up having gay sex. When psychologists say "ex-gay." they mean people who's sexual orientation has changed.
As far as I know, the psychologist's "ex-gay" doesn't exist and I'm baffled as to why the fundies think their concept of an "ex-gay" is meaningful.
