Stop telling folks they can deliver themselves from demons! There's NO such precedent anywhere in scripture - and I challenge you to prove me wrong.

There are some demons that will only be cast out through the aid and assistance of those who operate at a higher level of anointing than the average Christian who only operates with a personal anointing to walk out their Christian salvation with in this life.

Christ has set ministry gifts in the Church; what we term the five-fold ministry of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher.

"And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for works of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13

Notice it says He (Jesus) only gave SOME to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers? That means some - not all - believers will operate at higher levels of anointing for greater levels of service.

Though any Christian can cast out demons, the evangelist and apostle in particular have 'extra gifting' to deal with demonic spirits. This is seen in the life of Phillip in Acts 8 and Paul in Acts 19.

We must be careful in our zeal for Christ and in this current anti-preacher environment that we live in to not try to go beyond the bounds of scripture, assuming we can override the set order of things established by Christ in His own church.

Let the ministry gifts of Christ help you, instead of thinking you can be super-Christian and do things on your own. That's how satan ends up destroying the minds and bodies of many believers: you step out of divine order and go beyond divine protocol, and find yourself stepping beyond God's grace and into the waiting jaws of the devil.

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8

It's not feasible for me - nor would it be possible - to go around casting demons out of everyone on social media who comes to my page. So God has equipped me with talents and skills as a writer so that I could maximize my presence through articles, posts and most importantly through my ebooks.

This is my gift and contribution to the Body of Christ, operating in my anointing. Everyone can't do what I do: and I can't do what many of you do. That's what makes us all needed and relevant to one another.
