A 91 year old witness has told the trial about how these “law enforcement officials” amused themselves on one occasion by forcing a father and his son to fight to the death. The father allowed his son to kill him, in order to end this torture quickly. The SS – “legitimate law enforcement” – killed the son once the game was over.
I think that most people would use stories like this as as reminder that it is dangerous to blindly trust the law, but some people seem to think that a badge just trumps all moral and ethical considerations. Sad!

Think it’s appropriate to point out that Ayn Rand lived out her last days on social security and medicare.

I understand that people might object to their HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS being wasted on spongers like Ayn Rand, but the future can be strange sometimes. Maybe it’s not a good idea to stamp out every single form of state-sponsored poor relief, because, y’know, you might need it yourself someday.
