I seen it again the other day on the news, that man is 94% the same as Apes. They said man and Apes came from the same ancester because of it.

Zags, I could have written this very same thing! I keep asking God what is wrong with me. I almost feel like I am being sifted. I am tired of watching the people and things of this world running around doing their own un-godly, self-centered evil stuff. I am tired of christians who need to "get real". I am tired of not having time to spend with the Lord praying & talking to Him, I am tired of praying for people and situations that haven't changed in years. I am tired of my friends & relatives thinking I am "too religious, too christian, always talking about Jesus". I am tired of trying to converse with people about things going on in this world & how it relates to prophecy & having them look at me like I have 2 heads. I am tired of work, tired of dealing with people, I am tired of not having a heart full of mercy, love & compassion because I feel like the world is choking it out. And I am just barely hanging on.... trying not to take my eyes off the prize and trying to run this race to the end.

Lately I have been so tired. Not just physicaly, but mentally. I don't know how to explain it really. I'm just tired of this ugly world, and reading the news, and seeing headlines like Putin being voted man of the year, Blair refuses to aknowledge Israel as a nation, Olmert puting the Temple Mount on the table for a peace we all know is FALSE. Christians being told our love of our saviour is a waste of time, or we are cramming our religion down peoples throats, and how Christianity is wrong. Tired of getting my head taken off when I point out how news corolates with prophecy. The news makes me want to yark, and cry, and I find myself begging Jesus to come and take me home. I am having trouble praying for the people in my life that I know aren't saved, I waffle back an forth with letting them go their own way, and mustering up strength to fight With Them, For Them. I hate all the headlines that tell on a daily basis just how far this world has fallen. I'm sorry I'm such a downer, but I'm surrounded by scoffers and I can't talk to them. I'm having a little trouble picking my head up and keeping my eyes on the prize. I just want to go home. Is it wrong to be impatient?

Satan is really attacking me-

First- I couldn't witness to a muslim lady....that same night, I got punched in the face by my drunk husband who doesn't remember a thing! (I think he was possesed by a demon, but who knows...) around the same time my son got really sick..... (God helped with my son....he is doing much better....thank you all for your prayers...) ....God also helped it not to hurt so much when my husband punched me in the nose..... Then I had a horrible dream about aliens/demons...and woke up to that news show about Aliens.... Then last night I had really bad nightmares about demons.... He doesn't want me to go to heaven ....and I have been asking God if all these things in the news were really signs that the rapture is really close....and it's like in my dreams he was saying..."yes, why do you think Satan is attacking you so much?" <----but that was a "feeling" in my dream and I know that we aren't supposed to go by "feelings"..... ....anyway, I always ask God/Jesus at night to not forget me....He's all I got!!

I cannot take it anymore! There is so much pain, evil, and corruption. I want OUT and I want my Christian family throughout the world taken with me. I'm not sure how much longer I can take it. I just don't know. It's breaking my heart and to be very honest, I'm getting upset with God because although I know it's men who do these things, He is the only one with the power to put an end to it.

Think about it- there are over 6 billion people on this planet and we are almost at 7 billion. Even thought the statistics say there are 2 billion Christians in the world that is impossible to believe. There are too many fake Christians and wolves in sheep's clothing. Let's say there is about 500,000,000 true Christians in this world- that still leaves billions of souls on earth right now that are going to Hell. The largest soul harvest in history is going to be during the tribulation. I have begged God to please take us out of here ASAP in order to give the Christians who are pining for His return their rest from this wicked world and to give the wicked all the evidence and signs in the world that God is real and this is their last chance.

We "Watchers" are in a different category (not elitist-mind you) than those who "don't see." Maybe this is where some of the depression comes in.? Those who don't get it (or don't want to) seem to be scurrying about with everyday "stuff." Pumped up in themselves. Almost like they're trying to prolong the inevitable that they don't even understand.

We, on the other hand, know the WONDERMENT just over the horizon and it's almost too much for us to bear.

It's too overwhelming to those who have been taught that the Bible has been totally mistranstlated through the years and therefore unreliable, to those who don't have a firm relationship with Christ, who haven't studied prophesy to hear that this is it --- the time for Christ's 2nd coming is just a few years off --- we'll be transformed into new heavenly bodies and taken up to live with the Lord in an instance, prior to all the chaos that will ensue here during seven years of tribulation with the Anti-Christ.

That we'll receive our crowns, which we then leave at Jesus' feet, become His bride and attend the wedding feast, then come down with Him as His Warriors, when he sets His feet on the Mount of Olives, and help Him fight and win the Battle of Armageddon. I mean, do you see how crazy this can sound to the unbeliever and even the new believer and those who don't keep up with international news like we do?

Ironically, hubby and I talked about this once. We talked about how even if you had the winning lottery ticket in your hand for the biggest pot ever, it would not be worth it to miss the rapture. I would gladly drop it to the floor to go and be with Jesus.
There was a time, that I wanted Jesus to come back simply to get away from the pain. When I lost my sister, I wanted to get away from the pain. And I admit there are times, with OA, that the pain is so bad, I wanted to get away from physical pain, but the longer I serve God the more I want the rapture to happen so that I can be with Jesus. I can't even imagine the comfort and joy there will be when we are in the presence of God forever. Right now we are bombarded with evil in so many ways and not just out side our minds but by thoughts the devil puts in our heads. Can you imagine never having an evil thought again? All I can say is "Come quickly, Lord Jesus".

If you ever fasted and prayed for a long period of time; for example, a week, you may start to hallucinate.......just talking from experiance. And what I mean by hallucinate is that you might start seeing strange things in the spiritual world. If you are fasting and praying, like the Lord told us to do (while the bridegroom is away), some strange things you might see and hear might be coming from the enemy, and some strange things you might see might be good things from the Lord. If you are not totally grounded in Jesus, and His Way, I wouldn't suggest fasting for long periods of time.

I have a miracle to share if it is ok....for the past, oh I would say 2 months, my dh and I have been driving our car that has had a very bad vibration in the wheel when driving. Dh and I thought it was the tie rods or wheel bearings, and with us both working, we kept putting off checking it. Dh is good at mechanics, so one a couple weeks ago, he decided to finally check the car. What he found was a definate miracle of God. One of tires had the rubber falling off of it. He said "Do you believe in miracles honey? Because God just has been protecting us for quite awhile. We are VERY blessed that we have not had a blowout and wrecked the car and killed one or all of us!" He got new tires on the car. But I was so thankful to the Lord that He had protected us through the time we had not checked it!!!

There's a site I go to often, just to get some of the stranger headlines of the day. It's called fark.com. Some of you may be familiar with the site. It's mostly inhabited with liberal atheists, agnostics, and outright Christian haters. Not much respect for Christians, God, Creation, or the Bible. The comments on many of the stories are enough to make you cry or rip your hair out sometimes, believe me.

Anyway, they have a "Video" page, where a variety of links to videos (mostly from YouTube) are posted. So someone posted one of the little rapture videos out there, showing how it could happen. It was clear the poster wanted people to make fun of it. Well, needless to say, nearly every comment on that video was mocking or downright insulting. A lot of "Jeebus" thrown about as well, mocking the very name of the Savior. I posted on there as 'scuffleball' (my account on the site) about how the Rapture was a real future event and I prayed they would wake up before it was too late.

I haven't gone back to read any responses (and don't think I will) because I can imagine the vitriol that would be waiting on me.

My experience is that many people now see our belief in the Rapture as some kind of "escapist" exercise, as if by being Christians we are not capable of dealing with the world and we are all, by default, stupid and simpletons. I truly feel sorry for these people.

I'll agree with you there. I was actually looking at posts on YouTube, searching under the title "rapture." A lot of good things came up, but there are plenty of posts from atheists who actually WANT the Christians to be raptured so the rest of the world can not be bothered by all of our "preaching and telling them how to live." I was floored! It also told me that they are not true atheists in that sense because they believe there will be a rapture, so there must be a God to rapture the church. They just want us beievers out of the way!

I've been force-fed Roman catholicism since the day I was born. The only thing that saved me was that I started reading The Word on my own and developed a brain. Most genres of music have their suggestive songs. There was just a study where it was found that a good percentage of country music songs are about drinking. So, it is hard to avoid. But like I said, I'm trying my best!

A good example right now of a song sending the wrong message is a new one by Brooks and Dunn called "God Must be Busy." It's about all the different problems in the world and they're not solved because God must be so busy he just doesn't do a thing about them. I ask the question about the holocaust one time and I was told that if God had not have allowed the holocaust then the Israeli's would have never gone back home as He wanted them to. But since then they have been and still are going home to Israel. And when ya look at it like that, God's plan is better!! And another thing... those that died in the holocaust went straight to be with Jesus anyway. It was death to us but to God they were coming home.

[Is having an eating disorder a sin?]

One of my older sisters had eating disorder(s) for all of her adult life. It began while she lived in a college dorm. I would suggest that at the root of the eating disorder, there is sin. Go back to the beginning and look for the impetus or reason that it began, there you will probably discover sin.

My sister is dead now, and while I loved her dearly, with my understanding of the Word, I don't expect to see her in heaven.

I have seen many posts saying how bad torture is. Torture IS bad. Some are saying we should be better than this...we should not break the law. I think that sometimes the law is not the LAW. Sometimes a bad thing is the right thing. I personally am not a fan of torture...I would just execute terrorists. That being said I can't say what I would do to protect my own family.

I have also seen numerous posts which question why some in government are not worried about abortion as well. Let's not forget that abortion IS torture. The baby is burned, cut up, brain sucked out, etc. all while the kid is alive. This baby is an innocent person.

My husband and I since having children have decided to approach the day cautiously and Christ centered. We don't have a tree or lights, but we do have a Nativity (the "Little People" one since our kids are so young ) Our tradition so far has been to go to Church Christmas Eve, come home to a nice meal, read the Christmas story, and the kids get one gift each. When the kids are older and are more understanding we've talked about celebrating/forming new traditions around Hanukka (sp?) instead. In fact, I think it would be neat to observe every Jewish feast in some way with my kids. Even though most Jews are blind to it, Christ is centered in every one of those "holy days".

Believe me, I have seen the problem with illegals from Mexico for over 50 years as I was raised in South Texas, and for the most part, even the ones who were here legally didn't put forth much effort to learn to speak English well. In Jr. High, groups of Mexican students would gather around and speak Spanish, which I felt was rude, as they would start laughing when you walked by them. You can go into Wal Mart any day of the week and hear a 3-4 yr old Hispanic child speaking to his mother in Spanish. Do you think Mexico celebrates the 4th of July? Then why do we celebrate Cinco de Mayo? It's for the same reason~~~our independence and Mexico's independence from Spain. I'm just tired of the double standard, and yes, I'll keep on being intolerant when it comes to my Lord Jesus Christ and will stand up for what's right, according to what God's word says.

Only in our day and age would a presidential candidate calling homosexuality a sin make big headlines. Huckabee called it right, and I hope he doesn't try to back peddle on it.

There also was a time when isolating aids carriers was thought to be a good idea. Aids is a political football. It used to be called GRID....gay related immuno deficienct desease. The gays didn't like that, so the name was changed.

Our blood supply is screened to avoid aids contaminated blood from corrupting the supply. So you can thus see the danger that is present.

Aids could be wiped out if only.......men would stop exchanging body fluids with each other.

But no. Man must have his perversion and then demand a treatment be developed for the consequences of his perversion.

The ones who need our help are those like children who accidentally receive aids tainted blood. Thus isolating aids carriers could eliminate this problem as well.

I don't think he or his demons can read your mind. I seriously doubt that God would
allow that. They can however, shoot thoughts at you and start it with an "I" to
make it appear that they originated from you... for example, it you're worried about
or praying about your child's health, they can send some thought your way " I don't
think God is gonna heal my child." Of course it could be your flesh but I'm just using an
example. These spirits have been around a long time and have
been studying man for years so they are pretty good at figuring out how to tempt, test, or
hinder you. They also listen to you when you pray out loud to God & converse with others
so they pretty much know what's on your mind without having to read it.

My pastor explains it this way: God is omnipresent and knows everything beforehand. Satan can only be in one place at a time and therefore uses his demons in sort of a relay fashion. The demons don't know BEFOREhand what we are going to do or what we are thinking, but after the fact, they can relay messages to satan within nanoseconds.

Think about it.....they know which buttons to push, they know our weaknesses and frailties in order to tempt us in just the right areas, they know our doubts, fears and insecurities and play on them accordingly, and they know which painful memories to bring up with which to torment us over and over......how could they possibly do all that without reading our minds?

On a side note, that's another reason why God isn't going to tell any of us the date of the Rapture, no matter how 'trustworthy' we are.....because if we know, then they will know, too.
