BTW, when it comes to the "Merry Christmas" thing .... I don't even want non-believers saying it because they don't recognize Christ as the savior anyway. It sorta kinda comes close to taking the Lord's name in vain ... not quite though as I don't want to put too much importance on a word like "Christmas".
Walmart has a new TV ad, and I don't know what to think of it. Now, Walmart is one of my favorite stores and I think they normally have a wholesome imagine, even if not Godly (like saying happy holidays instead of the proper season's greeting).
But now I see their "holiday" slide is going even further. Their new commercial has kids begging for toys from their parents, which some might find cute (personally, it seems a little too much like chasing worldy objects instead of glorifying God) - but at the end, they have two demons-like creatures talking to the kids! They look like little imps and I just don't know what to think. I'd like to think maybe its just bad artwork, but they look kind of demonic in nature. The worst is that this is targetted at kids.

Oh Sweetly broken, your in the best place to find Jesus. You've read my prayer thread, I was in despair just a few months ago. I was riddled with such pain and satan was attacking me from all directions!! I felt unloved and unimportant. I loved Jesus so much but He had gone quiet and my prayer and praise time was a struggle. I knew I had to make myself do it,but I really didnt want to. It was all part of the plan to completely break me I'm sure. He let me go so low,every day was so painful! I was sure He just didnt love me enough to want to help!! (satan can make up some great lies!) I was physically, spiritually and emotionally broken. I spent a week overwhelmed and I just kept crying out to Him. I told Him even if He didnt love me, I loved Him and I wouldn't stop. I told Him I would never let go of the hem of His robe! It was aweful. So believe me I understand the broken place,but when you cry out Jesus from there, He comes to your aid!!Your desperate cries will move Him from His throne in heaven and before you know it you'll be smelling His sweet aroma!!
This experince just keeps getting better and better!! I'm so hungry and desperate for Him and its seems to be drawing more and more of His love and glorious presence! I shared on another thread what He did at my church on Sunday, it was awesome! Well i presence hasn't left me since.He keeps drawing me into my closet to pray and while I'm praying and praising His glorious name, He fill me afresh!! I'm filled with such passion and love for my Savior! I am so unworthy of any of this, Oh Jesus why me! I'm in tears as I write this,I love my Savior sooo much, He has let me sit on His lap,and I dont want to be anywhere else! His presence is addictive! This is going to sound confusing, but the end result is praise!
My job can be stressful, confusing at times, i cant go into much detail about it, it would take to long.... but months ago my company had me do billing... i hated it, my stomch hurt, i cried all day... it was a mess.... the next day my report came out and i had really messed up my files... i prayed Lord dont ever give me that again!
For months i never did that again... till yesturday! Well i knew 2 hours ahead i was about to do it, so i prayed.." Lord please go to work for me today, you do the job" where before i prayed for him to take it away.... this time i asked Him to do it for me.....
Well i went to work on the billing, i kept hearing in my head, DONT RUSH, there was a couple of times i thought, well that was a mistake ill hear about tomarrow! but kept going, saying God you do it!
well this morning i see the report.... last time i did it it was a mile long of mistakes... this time only 3.... i knew that was the few times i tried to think for myself and messed up instead of just letting go and letting God.
I know to some this may sound stupid... but you just dont know how this job did me the first time i did it... i was a mess, like you told me someone died, in hystaerics.... yesturday i knew God was in control!
Today im doing billing again... and feel great about it... im not scared of it at all... because i know... God is in control!
Well, people keep VOTING these people into office that ADVOCATE abortion for any reason for any time.
When these abortion advocates get into office, those that voted them in either cheer them on, say nothing about THAT topic or wring their hands hoping they don't promote it. Instead they want them to focus on more socialism - in essence socialism, $$$$ has become more important than an innocent human life. Conveniently they want to see "Jesus" as the ultimate socialist - forget about what He'd think about abortion ... it's the $$$$ that are more important.
On the flip side, these same folks will want you to shell out thousands of dollars to house and care for absolute monsters that are guilty beyond any reasonable doubt - just so they don't get capital punishment. And they feel "righteous" and "superior" about protecting pure evil.
In short what's right is wrong and wrong is right.
Money is their idol - not Jesus and His teachings. And don't you dare be critical of their hypocrisy or misguided humanistic beliefs

Someone I have known for some years now told me today at work that he does not believe in the Word of God anymore. I was stunned and shocked because he had never made me wonder before because he had such a good Christian attitude.
He says he's been an athiest for years, but keeps it quiet because he says it freaks people out.
Well that's the truth, because it freaks me out that this person I know and trust doesn't believe! Please stand by me as I speak to Mike about the wonderful life he will be missing out on in glory!
Another thing I've noticed is how much anti Christian remarks, sites etc are online. It seems to be a growing trend to make fun of Christians.. ESPECIALLY FUNDAMENTAL There are sites specifically set up for that reason and to me that is a huge indicator of how much we truly are in the end times!

We used to have the school spirit stuff back when I was in high school as well. I didn't see the harm then but today I do see it as satan's way of sneaking it in as 'innocent' fun. Also homosexuality was very much frowned upon back then and if someone were to even hint at possibly being homosexual they were instantly a social pariah. Of course because of the slow eroding of our senses with 'innocent' play this is now almost a normal part of our society today. We as Christians do need to set a higher standard.
Yesterday, after church, I was having a wonderful little day with the Lord, hubby home watching football, I cooked a yummy meal. Then at dinner time, WHAM! Hubby does the jekle/ hyde thing and does major attack! The devil knows I have a God-appointed agenda and plans to advance His kingdom, and alot of people have been praying hard for my husband's salvation. So after I confessed and repented this morning ( I got real mad this time, don't usually, just keep quite and pray), the Lord revealed how this will be used for His glory. [smilie]

I don't really like any of the Republican Candidates, to be honest. We Christians are being left out in the cold this election cycle by these "Republican" liberals and I can't see just giving the Republican party our vote. A mormon and catholic are leading the polls! What more do we need to know? If God had wanted us to know any more, he would have inspired the writer of Genesis to add that in. If it's not in the Bible, I don't need to know about it!

It seems that many people (Christians included) start off with the presumption that science is correct. When there is a point that science and the Bible disagree on (whether it be age of the Earth, creation account, or whatever,) they proceed to either allegorize or explain away the Biblical account.
Shouldn't we (as Christians) start out by presuming the inerrancy of God's Word? If there is a scientific conclusion that disagrees with the Bible, shouldn't it be the scientific conclusion that is brought into question? Since we know that God's word is correct and accurate, our first assumption should be "maybe my conclusion/experiment/research is in error" rather than "that passage of the Bible must be an allegory" or "must have been written in a way that 'primitive' humans could better understand it."
As an example, take the creation account. If you read the Biblical creation account without the "benefit" or "insight" of modern science, what conclusion do you come to? It is certainly not the conclusion that man and ape evolved from a common ancestor.
I would say the same thing about the age of the Earth. If you read the Bible without the "benefit" or "insight" of modern scientific discoveries, you would come to no conclusion other than an Earth that is approximately 6,000 years old. The "gap theory" and other explanations didn't come along until science told us that the Earth and universe are millions/billions of years old. Shouldn't we be starting all of our scientific research from the basis that the Bible is accurate and inerrant?

The other day, on the day of the beginning of the Annapolis Summit, my DSIL's departure date to going to Las Vegas, NV, to fly off to Washington, DC...for which I told her to not be too surprised if her fellow passengers onboard her plane begin disappearing right before her very eyes, upon her return home flights. I told her that I too, may be gone as well, by the time she returns home.
My SIL, you see--is a firm Budist believer, who thinks Jesus won't mind if she is. At the time she told me, my mind went blank, but then later on...Jesus told me what to say to her about this, by quoting his words from the NT in the Bible. Now I'll have to look up His words, and show them to her IF I'm still around that is.

Oh man! I am sure some of you guys know that I have been struggling with the idea of adoption. After the Middle East summit and many saying that within a year we might be raptured. I kept having a feeling of urgency to start the adoption but then I thought "it really won't matter though. I received an email from a Muslim trying to convince me that Islam is the right way....before 9/11 I had never really understood to much about the religion and I hardly even heard about it....now, I am being bombarded with it every day!! This makes me believe that this religion is Satan's religion.....and this email that I received had a you tube video on it that had a christian who converted to islam speaking....and so I went to the video makers site and commented that Jesus is the only way to Heaven....and then I saw on his site a video about Christianity being Satan's religion and how we are brainwashed by the jews....never in my life have I seen anything like this....This is the biggest thing that tells me that the END TIMES are here....I thank you dear Jesus for allowing me to be born in the United States because it was so easy to love you here...I didn't have Islam anywhere near me....I know now that you are a little unhappy with the US because you are allowing Islam to enter into our country way more then ever before....I pray that you forgive us Dear God....there are still a lot of us who dearly love you Jesus!

Just the other day, one of my friends' daughter introduced me to her girl friend. She says " this is my girlfriend (her name here)" Later on I talked to the step-dad and asked him about it, and he confirmed it. This girl has babysat my little girls before!!!!!!! I about wanted to gag [vomiting emoticon], but thought better of it and it was time to go anyway. There is also exposure in school. My daughter goes to a Christian school (Church of Christ) and she saw The Lion King in pre-K 4 (I wouldn't let her see it because I thought it was too violent and didn't know about the showing until my daughter told me later), and in 1st grade saw the Wizard of Oz (that movie freaked me out at age 10).
Her friend from next door (same age and has an older brother...her father is a preacher) told her last Christmas that there is no Santa Claus and my daughter asked my mother if it were true. My daughter is asking if Santa is real at SIX!!!
Anyway, my point is, it is near impossible to filter out everything that you want to filter out. There is always someone that is exposing them whether they acknowledge it or not. Yet another reason why I am excited about Jesus coming. To save her from all of this worldly things.
What's scary is that the natural disasters they won't be able to stop will cure their population problem, but they will still kill the ones they deem unfit to live.It seems to me though, that, all these religions that call themselves THE church, and have billions of members, and say they are against abortion, why is it happening even more frequently in this day and age than it has ever happened before. I know the whole abortion thing is satanic, because I like to think that God sends down needed angels down here, with these precious new-borns, to help us out, and the evil one knows it. This makes my blood BOIL. I would LOVE to take a child (or several children, for that matter) home and give them a good life and so would several thousand other couples who cannot have children. Why do many denominations ordain women as pastors considering Jesus only chose men as his apostles and Paul's teachings on women not speaking in church? I have never understood this as it seems to me like it disregards Biblical teachings.
In a nutshell, my father, mother and brother all at about the same time (during Thanksgiving dinner) said that no matter what religion you are, there is ONE GOD and ALL RELIGIONS (if they do good in thier religion that is) have the same God and will go to Heaven. My dad can't get past the "what if someone from a little village never heard of Jesus........". My mother thinks the Bible has been translated so many times over and over that not everything is correct. And my brother said "yes a muslim will go to Heaven just like we will, as long as he does good". I TRY talking to them without arguing. I TRY explaining what I know, but it always ends up with "well anyway, lets not get into that right now........lets eat Turkey !" OR whatever...you get what Im sayin. THEN......I brought all this up to my husband and he started with "Well Im not too keen on the whole HELL thing, I mean why would a loving God send ANYONE to hell"? So, I just really DO NOT KNOW how to talk to any of them. I bought my dad the book The Case For Christ, but he never read it. I thought my mom was saved, but now I wonder. Same with my husband...now I don't know where he's at with Jesus. Ugh. Are there any websites? stories? emails? anything...? I can send them? I will tell you this too. It made me feel very alone.
