If you support homosexuality, you don't believe in any kind of being that could reasonably be called "God."

Unless you define hating Homosexuality as a fundamental quality of "God" then this statement is clearly wrong. And if you do its clearly tautological.
So yeah. I don't even know how else to respond to this.
If you support shellfish-eating, you don't believe in any kind of being that could reasonably be called "God", either.
I "support" homosexuality the same way I "support" tall people and people with high IQ, they are just normal variations in the human species.
I don't believe in any kind of being that could reasonably be called "God".
One has little or nothing to do with the other, though.
I don't, but there are gay Christians out there.
Let's put it another way: If you don't support the rights of gay Americans, then you don't believe in any document called the "Constitution."
I support the rights of homosexuals. I don't believe in god. That's a correlation, not a causation.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that you'd have the opposite answers. You've forgotten two important points. (1) You don't get to define the beliefs of other Christians, and there are plenty of them that are not paranoid about gays. (2) Your kind of attitude is instrumental in getting many young people to leave religion altogether. Now THAT'S a causation!
Funny, a lot of LGBTAs believe in God, including the Christian one.
What about 9/11 victim & hero Fr. Mychal Judge?
What about retired Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson?
What about Clay Aikin?
the list goes on.
Confused?
