Why can't people just have a passing interest in things? They just have to sperg and powerlevel all over something until something new pops up.

They just have to sperg
Your mirror polish bills must be atrocious !
Why can't people just have a passing interest in things? Why does Joshua 'Null' Moon have to sperg and powerlevel all over Donald Fart?
...and therefore you see the hypocrisy inherent in your 'argument'. Like Bozo the Clown in a few months, someone new pops up in No. 10.
Yeah, millions of people are casual about millions of things.
But very likely, being casual would by definition mean not making a big deal about it on the internet. So, a silent, invisible majority.
Most of them are also casual about those with militant opinions....
Err, almost all people have at most passing interest in most of their hobbies, one can reasonably assume? On another hand, everyone has this one or two things, for which they have all the passion in the world and fuck you, you tiny prick, for daring to tell them that having a true passion is some gross disorder. I’m generally more passionate than most but I still treat most stuff in my life lightly.
Also, if something’s a true passion, it doesn’t get replaced by something new “popping up”, I’ve been fascinated by cooking and preparing food, since I was about 4 and I am 32, as of this May and I can already tell you, that I will continue to be fascinated with it, till the very day I expire. You’re, of course free to point and laugh at my intense, ADHD character all you want but at the end of the day, I’m still a happily married housewife, with a skill to prepare a restaurant quality dinner, whenever I feel like expressing myself and you are still random internet sociopath circlejerk. I’m good, from where I’m standing, are ya?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
