There seems to be no reason to run the rat race so earnestly if you aren't desirable to women, given that much of male competition involves impressing women/relatives (who will be disappointed anyways due to your romantic failures).

Hobbies? I can't see why you would need a large income to enjoy most.
Travel? Your ugly mug will still be just as ugly in Zimbabwe vs. wherever you currently live.
Respect? Lol. If you're here, you probably aren't respected in the first place. A tough hole to climb out of, especially as an (presumably) bad-looking person (halo effect).
