[On bi-racial marriage]
I think there are two races: Adam's race and Christ's race of new creatures. (And we ought to marry within our own race)

Eh, what? There are only two races?
Christ started a new race?
So Jesus had kids, then? WTF?
Huh...
Guess "Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned" was correct, then! Cool!
I'll start looking for other nuggets of truth and wisdom in computer games now... I'd probably find more there, anyway, than in the bible.
To me this looks like his idea of two races is based on whether or not one is "saved"; the parenthetical remark, then, has less to do with actual race than with fundie Christians marrying non-fundies. (Meaning this should be on FSTDT, not RSTDT).
“I think there are two races: Adam's race and Christ's race of new creatures.”
Ah. So, you’re an idiot. Pick any other word you want for the demographics of saved and unsaved, ‘race’ has been taken AND it has significant meaning for many people.
My marriage was interfaith AND it was biracial. She’s catholic, and I’m white, Her dogtags said ‘black’ while mine said ‘no-pref’ because they wouldn’t put anything else there.
"(And we ought to marry within our own race)”
Why?
I mean, there’s no point in saying so if you can’t justify it. Why do you think this?
Many have offered me scripture that seems to indicate god hates biracial marriage, but the Bible tends to blur race, nationality, and Israel all into one trait. SO they’re saying Jews shoudln’t marry a woman who won’t keep Kosher in their kitchen.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
