[In response to someone pointing out that evolution is the result of many small changes and adaptations over a long period of time.]
Again that is simply natural selection and adaptation nothing evolved. And your saying billions of years which isn't possible. The earth is roughly 6000 years old. If the earth was simply 15 million years old the population at the rate that it has increased would leave us with over 100,000 people per sq feet. so that's out of the question. and again where did this all start?

Patches: Don't let them hear you. Soon, we'll have "Even Younger Earth Creationists."
Oh, I forgot. The Earth couldn't possibly be younger than 1611, because that was when Jesus wrote the King James Bible. My bad.
Again that is simply natural selection and adaptation nothing evolved.
-What the hell do you think evolution is?
And your saying billions of years which isn't possible. The earth is roughly 6000 years old.
-And you're basing this on thousands of observations of the natural world or a silly book of folklore written down hundreds, even thousands of years after they supposedly happened?

-The population didn't always grow at the rate it currently does. Food was never so plentiful, people didn't live so long, and maybe 1/4 of children survived to adulthood. The plagues which ravaged Europe killed nearly 50% of the population. What? Did you honestly think Dr. House was on the Ark with Noah and they had advanced hydroponics in Jerusalem?
and again where did this all start?
About 2.2 billion years ago with a swirling mass of dust and rock forming into planetary bodies revolving around a young yellow star.
This person has a huge amount of epic fail, too much to describe. These are the simple kind of fundies - they're just too stupid to understand evolution, so they go with the easier-to-understand explanation.
@Old Viking:
Give or take six days.
Ussher was wrong when he said the world was 6000 years old. To give him his dues, he made a pretty good estimate based on the available information, but it was biased by cultural prejudices. Since then, a lot more information has come to light, allowing us to make far more accurate estimates.
1: You do not understand the terms you throw around.
2: You. Are. Not your.
3: It most certainly is possible.
4: Oh yeah? Prove it! You can't? Oh, that's alright. I mean, it's not like we have a few well-tested and reliable dating techniques that support our conclusions. Oh wait....
5: Struggle for existance, BITCH!
6: Ever notice how the words "biogenesis" and "abiogenesis" have the word "genesis" in them? If you want to believe God poofed the world in existance, go ahead! Evolution isn't saying you can't: you simply refuse to make a distinction.
I don't think they really comprehend what 15 million years are (honestly I can't, other than a hell of a lot).
Other than that, they just parrot Hovind or whoever else they've read. There isn't an original thought in those little heads.
"Again that is simply natural selection and adaptation"
Hey asswipe, that is the definition of evolution.
that is simply natural selection and adaptation
You don't say. And what exactly do you think evolution is?
Also, it's fun to look how old things are using the Fundie Calendar. You can date things in "Before Creation" and "After Creation".
One, there are more than 100,000 people per sq in some areas of the world already. Second, the capacity of reproducing and growing has not been the same during our existence, not even during our recent history. One century ago, for example, life expectation was 45 years. Third, existence of the Earth doesn't mean existence of people, egocentric idiot. And the very first sentence IS the explanation of evolution.
"Again that is simply natural selection and adaptation nothing evolved"
You're an idiot.
"If the earth was simply 15 million years old the population at the rate that it has increased would leave us with over 100,000 people per sq feet"
Only if the population growth rate had remained constant...which it pretty much never does. You're an idiot.

There's no such thing as fossilization. That's just plants and animals' organic material being replaced by minerals, nothing fossilized!
There's no such thing as precipitation. That's just rain and sleet, nothing precipitated!
There's no such thing as combustion. That's just things catching on fire and blowing up, nothing combusted!
