Frankly, I stay faithful to my wife because i made a promise to Her. Not any god, or the state. And she made the promise to me. It’s not really anyone else’s business but ours.
I would really think the ‘way it should be’ is that if she cheats on me, _I_ am the one who decides if I want to keep her, leave her, renegotiate the prenup, or take up with a stripper for some revenge sex to level the playing field.
ANd if I cheat on HER, then it’s HER decision whether to cut it off with a cleaver or the chainsaw out in the garage (her opinion has been made QUITE clear over the years).
