Translation from Vogon poetry: "Fuck you, I'd have mine under Pinochet and I'd love watching everyone I hate thrown from helicopters!"
"...whaddaya mean, "sadist"? It's the leftists who are sadists! Roosh V and Vox Day said so!"

Funny, I think I would have remembered if Pinochet was an immature 10 year old with a shitty sense of humor...
@Kanna: when Conservative media figures like Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage and Sean Hannity started mainstreaming fascist ideas to a rabid fanbase that was already drowning in fear and apoplectic rage thanks to a steady diet of panic-mongering right-wing news media, which was actually created as a way to help propel the masses to the polls to vote for conservative pols.
The internet has played its part, too. It helped to give complete maniacs weaned on all of the above a platform to reach hundreds, or even thousands of people or more, when before they'd have been limited to cranking out crude mimeographed newsletters in their basements by hand or spamming newspapers and magazines with angry letters that read like they're written on toilet paper. So the positive feedback process really picked up speed by the early 2000s, and it allowed them to find each other very, very easily. In other words, the original conservative strategy of courting angry, panicky, xenophobic, under-informed crazy people for their votes backfired horribly, and the resultant mob ripped and tore its way into the big tent with the intention of taking control of the circus. It's only going to get crazier from here.
Although there's always been a vicious, crazy streak in American politics.
@Kanna:
When some alt-right voidhead somehow encountered the factoid that he threw left-wing dissidents out of helicopters. which appealed to its depraved "humour", and since the Alt-Right is a hivemindlessness, as well as resonance with the other sick joke of the month (some crackpot with a funny name saying that "Communists" should be "physically removed"), they are all obsessed with him, at least for now.
@Pharaoh Bastethotep: today's edgelord humor is tomorrow's mainstream view.
Sure, some of them just find black humor appealing, and others just like to rile up other people, but not all of them. At least not anymore. Some of them are fucking serious, and the more shit like this circulates around, the more people are going to start picking it up as an actual, viable idea. They're in the process of collectively rolling the notion around in their heads, getting comfortable with it.
This is always how it starts. Eventually they stop joking--and then you wind up with Iron Guard-type right-wing movements.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
