In the end, everyone will act on their ethnic interest first, and their national interest second. This has always been the way the world works. It's why people identify as "Chinese Canadians" or "Indian Canadians" first.
Secondly, integration just allows the White race to be mixed out at even greater rates. Canadian culture will be gone in another 1000 years. Even the language will change to become unrecognizable. The only thing that is ever permanent across the winds of time is Race. And if the race is destroyed, you can never bring it back, unlike religion or culture or language.

We don't really have that either/or dichotomy Americans are obsessed with. We don't generally use terms like "Chinese Canadian," or "African Canadian." We do still use terms like "black" to refer to black people, because once you're a Canadian citizen, you're Canadian full-stop. Mosaic, not melting pot.
(Also, not everyone with black skin comes from Africa. West Indies, the Caribbean, South America, Australia, all have large black populations.)
Also, asshat, travel back a thousand years to Druidic England and strike up a conversation with someone. Then ponder which one of you is actually speaking English. Languages change, cultures die out, it's as inevitable as the tides.
A 1,000 years? By then we could all be speaking mandarin chinese.
Nobody alive right now, including new born babies, will need to worry about what Canadian or any other nations culture will be like in 1,000 years. The world will be as different in a 1,000 years as it was to us 1,000 ago.
BTW you can't bring back cultures or religions. After all I don't see any sign of any ancient religions or cultures making a comeback. Once they are gone they are gone for good.

That is not how the English language work. Actually, it is the last word that is the more important one, while the second one modifies it. The White House is a house that is white. A polar bear is a bear from the Arctic. A forest fire is a fire in a forest. A Chinese Canadian is a Canadian of Chinese descent.

Pray show me how identical your blood is to those who lived in Canada 1000 years ago, and how you still speak the same language and practice the same culture.
Oh, ok, well then show me how identical your blood, language and current cultural practices are to ANY community 1000 years ago.
What's that? You actually have no fucking idea what the ethnicity, language and cultural practices of anyone at all 1000 years ago was? Well that IS a surprise.
New rule: Anyone who bangs on about "race" has to get their DNA tested by the Nat Geo genographic project.
