Comment: "What about Goosebumps? What is their function?"
Ray Comfort: Perhaps you could believe that Goosebumps are evolutionary evidence we evolved from geese. In truth, they close up the skin so that it retains warmth.

Nobody is saying that humans evolved from any sort of avian dinosaur, Ray. The name goosebump is far older than evolutionary biology and.... you know what, I really don't even have the motivation to answer Ray's guano.
Not only retains warmth, but is an evolutionary holdover from when we had fur. When we get scared, we'd raise our fur up to look bigger than we are. You know, like a cat does.
LOL! What a fucking idiot. No Ray, goosebumps used to puff up the fur that we no longer have in order to hold in warmth or appear larger to potential predators. So yes, they are evidence of evolution because they're something of a vestigial trait.
Well, bananas are this particular atheist's nightmare; the ghastly things make me gag. By the way, I love the word "piloerection", which sounds rude, but is just another way of saying goosebumps.

"I don't believe in evolution, but even I think this is stupid. Ps don't think that all creationist are christian. "
Some of them are muslims. They seem to be even dumber than the christian variety.
Goosebumps got their name because they make the skin resemble that of a plucked goose. They don't retain warmth, though they did for our evolutionary ancestors with their hairier bodies. The bumps made the hair stand on end, creating a layer of insulation. Congrats, Ray, not only have you not provided any evidence for the body being designed, you've exposed yet another piece of evidence for evolution! Got any more own-goals you'd like to share?
You might be descended from Mother Goose, Ray, you are a silly goose, yourself, you know.
Since when do we need that, tho? Like the male nipple, a goosebump retains its functionality, but in a decreased form with lessened utility.
Not sure if trying to be funny, or just normal ray......
Also, people get goosebumps when they are scared, animals the world over have their hair stand on end to make them look bigger when faced by a threat.
We do it, yet we have tiny hairs? Funny that. Almost as if they are linked somehow..........
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
