You are. I am not. Try as you might you simply can`t bring people like me to your level. Fuck I`m arrogant bitch but this arrogance comes from the actual knowledge and the ability to understand and if need be replicate a lot of modern tech, from a moral system engraved so deep within me I will refuse to switch blame even for only slightest of my failures, from empathy that makes me care for the barely alive bird our cat brings to the pointh where the little guy can fly away after few days.
It is not that I don`t find faults within myself it`s just that I live with an absolute conviction to constantly challenge them and improve through. You just fucking wallow. Your own conservative value system holds people like me in the highest regard even if only for the ability to provide for myself, surivive, improve and thrive while you would be considered not even a human being and eventually taken for some nasty asylum experiments, no not to treat you of anything of course, to make you dissapear from our sight.
So let me get this straight; Incels who obsess about their (in)ability to have sex over anything, who condone rape, pedophilia, incest, abuse, and pretty much anything that makes themselves feel better over others, are the only non-hedonists with "moral integrity"?
It'd be funny as hell if Incels weren't so creepy and disturbing little monsters.
Oh, and btw, one of the philosophies I live by is "ethical hedonist". Meaning I believe that experiencing and spreading a maximum amount of happiness is one of the most meaningful things one can do in this otherwise ephemeral and pointless life. So calling me a hedonist is not much of an insult. Now calling me selfish, that does go against my philosophies and just moral center.

Thanks a lot! You know, It's not always easy to be as nice as possible to others, especially when you spend to much time on the internet and read from people like the OP (such behavior tends to bring out the asshole in me), but I do try to do my best whenever I can. Especially since I even believe that the smallest things can help, such as just complimenting someone for something minor. Because, as cheesy as it may sound, I really do like seeing people happy (at least those who deserve it). I'm pretty empathic like that.
Hell, even when I play an RPG like Mass Effect, I simply cannot not be a Paragon the entire time.

Wow, precisely the philosophy I live by myself.
I like to play the punishing angel in most fantasies to be sure but in reality I mostly care about helping others out, solving problems and making folks happy even to the point where I like to sometimes make a bit of a clown of myself on purpose to see some friendly chuckles.
In ME I played the equivalent of section 31 officer. Shoots villain to his face as he tries to threaten the hostage and will do anything to make everyone cooperate together against the threat.
Worst part for me was fighting against the reapers at first, thankfuly they fucked the plot by the third game so much I lost all my prievious attachment to these awsome beings and their goal(it was changed drasticaly from the first and second game). Suppose it`s the same thing most trump voters felt when they played Killzone or, say Wolfenstein.

Well, I only met ME by the time the third game came out, so the Reapers weren't that spoiled for me. Still think that the original intention for them was much better. In case you don't know, it's that Mass Effect based technology was actually harming the universe itself. As evidenced by that whole "star dying prematurely subplot" in ME2 that was forgotten about. And they harvested all ME using races to prevent it from happening. Certainly more interesting than the Catalyst's inane logic. Though, TBH, the extended cut and Leviathan DLC fixed it somewhat in my eyes.
I honestly have very high hopes for Andromeda. Especially to see how other galaxies fared without the Reapers' influence.

Oh I know, I loved that plot, really would like to see it done to conclusion but that`s what you get when it`s a product first, art second.
By the way the plot itself was(or at least seemed) an extrapolation on a certain Star Trek TNG episode where they had to limit themselves to iirc warp 6 to not seriously destabilise the universe in a few short centuries.
ME to me is kind of a dead universe anyway and I can`t stomach biocrap anymore with their Suish messiachs, dangling the fucking keys in front of me with pointless minigames and mastery level designed for a mentaly stunted orangutan with attention span shorter than my cats(wouldn`t bother me if the story engaged me enough but by the third game, you know).
At this point I found out that I get more and more satifaction from games like enter the gungeon(last weekend on a coke and a whole nighter sex fueled run I managed to finally open a shortcut down to the fourth chamber) or hyperlight drifter(cried through the entire game, something in the music, designs and the overall atmosphere of the game just made me cry for the beauty of this forever lost world that we shall never see in it`s prime, I remember hubbs once strictly forbidding me from playing it cause he feared I was in too much cathartic overcharge and could get a breakdown if I played any longer), of course Dark Souls(indeed there is something in the long dead worlds which calls to me almost irresistibly) and my favourite when it comes to playing the overseer to a bunch of miserable golems nothing gives me more pleasure than a few hours of Darkest Dungeon.
Incels and religious fanatics are the last place one should look for morality or moral integrity. Hypocrisy, racism, xenophobia, misogyny, rape seems to be what both groups are about
