1) 1% of a billion is 10 million, not 100 million.
Meanwhile, they say that the homosexual population of the world is only about 3%, and to them that is an isignificant number.
I'd also like to point out the truth in the user name's definition of this poster's character.

It rather depends on which billion you use. If you use the (far superior - it follows a logical system. :^P ) British billion, its ten thousand million.

Everyone else has already pointed out your error in math. (100 million would be 10%, not 1%).
What you're trying to say, of course, is that because of those 100 (using your number) million, then all muslims should be stopped.
How 'bout this? Let's find out what the percentage of people calling themselves Christian is that commit violent crimes.
I suspect it's more than 1%.

What you're talking about is an American billion (1,000,000,000) or, to give it its proper name, a milliard.
Aside from the MATH FAIL ,
there are so many Islanic fundamentalists, in fact, that Iranian young people staged a prtest a few years ago to have more freedoms . Probably because all the Muslim clerics would lose their status and dick-waving if they did, they said things like "this is an evil American influence on OUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN" and got on the news for it. Thus ignoring the large percentage of normal people in their country who, just like here, look like a minority because the real minority is so vocal and whiney.
...Sorry, my point, of course, is, THE SMALL MINORITY OF TRUELY CRAZY MUSLIMS MAKE THE REST OF THEM LOOK BAD, JUST LIKE IN CHRISTIANITY OR ANY OTHER MAJOR RELIGION.*

Ok, I suck at math myself, having failed Math 003 at my college last fall, (and have to retake it sometime) even I know that these numbers are wrong. I would hazard a guess that out of about 2 billion Muslims in the world the 1% probably comes up to either 100,000 or 1 million extremists in the Muslim world. I could be wrong but at least I am not ashamed to admit it.
