(On r/debateachristian Thread asked if Jeffery Dahmer's victims were in Hell since they died unrepentant, whaereas Dahmer had been saved by converting to Christianity.)
Without nitpicking the scenario, the answer to your title question is "Yes". I assume the point to your post being the injustice of it. To which I would say that being a victim of one situation doesn't excuse everything you've done i.e. just because those gay men were murdered doesn't mean they were good people. So, justice is still served to those that don't accept mercy.

How do you know they didn't? Or do you subscribe to the big fairytale that all gay men go to Hell?
Or maybe you're just another fundie, who always blame the victim(s).
So, justice is still served to those that don't accept mercy.
Ahem, to paraphrase an anime character who defied a god, "Who cares about your justice!?"
Seriously, if that's what passes for justice, I'd gladly become an unjust "criminal" and reconsider my own morals. And I pride myself on my strong sense of justice.
P.S.: a cookie for anyone who gets the quote.
Well, Dahmer was obviously not a good person, and if bowing to your God excuses everything he did, I'll pass on going to that heaven, thanks.
So wait. You're saying all one has to do is convert and then everything they do is a-OK? Wow! Guess it's time to go a-murderin'. After all, it's okay with just a few words, right? Not like there are things in the Book about not doing that, or the idea that works are more important than just paying lip service to the faith. That's just crazy talk.
OK, I'll accept your premise. But first you'll have to prove that Dahmer is in heaven. No, not an argument for that, a PROOF. Yes, I know, that means that you will first have to prove there's a heaven. Once again, evidence, not argument.
"So, justice is still served to those that don't accept mercy."
Justice is not infinite punishment for finite transgressions.
Justice is not holding people accountable for their ancestors' crimes.
Justice is not served by punishing one person for the errors of others.
Justice is not blaming people, demonizing and victimizing them for being what they are.
If that is what you think of justice and what makes a god worthy of worshiping, then y'all can fuck right off.
The OP doesn't know anything about the victims except they died cruelly and 'before their natural time.' No, simply believing in a deity is not a "Get Out of Consequences Free" card.
Dahmer was a sadistic monster and he will, in my own belief system, pay - and learn - in ways no human could devise or successfully carry out.
His victims would go to some other place; a peaceful place. And that's all I 'know' about the nature of that other place. I hope even those with debts would be freed of them for having endured Dahmer's cruelty.
@Shadowbell
From Fairy Tail? No, that's not who I was referring to.
I was talking about Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Super. Without spoiling too much, it's in the "Future Trunks" arc, where the main antagonist claims he's acting in the name of "justice" by eradicating all mortals to create a paradise for the gods.
So my point was that if "justice" actually is whatever some psycho says it is, and involves punishing innocents (like the OP claimed), then I couldn't care less about it anymore.
Confused?
