(In Response to a news report that GLAAD is calling for 20% of Primetime TV Characters to be some form of LGBT by 2025)
It's never been about "equality."
It's always been about tyranny.
The idea of "equality" was merely the Trojan Horse.

A few years ago, Sandi Toksvig took over hosting the BBC's primetime comedy quiz game "QI" from the very moist Stephen Fry.
As the latter is gay, and the former is lesbian, the fact that the host makes up one fifth of the programme's on-screen cast renders your latter ass-ertion mathematically invalid: and Stephen is well-versed in the classics.
What about the other four contestants: and as permanent panellist Alan Davies is straight , therefore...!
So basically, Mr. Ford; You would rather non-heteros be invisible and for everybody in fiction to be hetero rather than reflect real life.
If demographics you don't like getting ANY sort of representation in the media is "tyranny" then I think you're a weirdo who's literally "oppressed" by their mere existence!
They are just calling for fair representation*. The tyranny is perpetrated by the homophobes.
Re QI. In Fry’s time, it was Quite often an all-male panel. Recently, it was all female, except Alan Davies of course.
When it’s all male, no-one says anything, when it was four women and Mr. Davies, it had to be pointed out.
* No-one knows how many bisexuals there are. If it’s a floating scale, we might all be more or less bisexuals, except for the ones at either ends of the scale. All the ones who think you CAN choose, they must be bisexual, for example.
To tell the truth, that GLAAD is pushing for 20% shows that they may be trying to push too far. Frankly a fictional character really only needs their sexuality brought up if it has something to do with the story, and pushing people to have 20% of their characters be gay, bi, or transsexual most of the time will mean going out of your way to make up excuses for them to be one of these, unless it’s a show focusing on the LGBT community. And trying to force that into the storytelling is really just going to result in a heftier disservice to every community, except the anti-LGBT frummies who will just tell us all “I told you so.”

Oh, how loud was the wailing, moaning & gnashing of teeth in "Overwatch" forums etc when Blizzard revealed that Soldier: 76 was gay.
One wonders if the fanboys did the same when Blizzard said the same about Tracer, eh...?!
Confused?
