When you think the nazis won't kill you if you're racist enough
Sorry but I need to rant for a hot minute. It's ok to refer to suicide. It's ok to say dead people are dead. I was suicidal, once, a long time ago. I have also attended other people's suicides as a paramedic. It is tragic, terrible, awful, and I still cry a little bit every time. If reading the word triggers you, you still need more therapy. I mean that sincerely. It is possible to move on from even the gravest tragedies, but you have to put in the work.
My personal conspiracy theory is that people only avoid these words today because they were raised on social media platforms. Platforms that exist to put ads in a feed of some kind. The people who buy those ad slots don't want you talking about death. It makes you less likely to buy their products. Don't take my word for it, go read any website's TOS for a list of all the things advertisers don't want you to talk about. I call it a conspiracy theory, but I worked in the advertising industry for years. It is one of my biggest regrets.
