This dates back to 2019 Proud Boy protests, not something from 2020. Though I’m sure the filing of this now when Antifa is back in the news isn’t a coincidence. Evidence suggests Andy was attacked but also that he was coordinating with the right wing protestors at the event. It’s hard to claim to be an innocent bystander or journalist when you are involved with organizing the violence.

His first and second points about changing language and history are something both sides try to do. Trying to pin it only on the left is absurd.

His claim about shifting standards is more deceptively wrong though on several levels. In trying to define identity down to only the things he cares about he is trying to write whole groups and entire issues out of existence. In reality religions, countries and even ethnic groupings change over time also. And at the same time he is trying to say morality/ethics are constants and progressive are wrong for not having fixed standards, not accepting that they do change over time. Even religions with fixed divinely mandated laws change over time as arguments about how the laws should be implemented and enforced happen.

It’s obvious this guy is looking forward to turning riots into civil wars. And I say this as somebody who agrees with much of his underlying claim about an armed body of citizens. The thing is, he isn’t looking at it as an unpleasant necessity, he can barely disguise his glee.

That isn’t even an excuse or explanation. If he was really prophetic he would have known that the democrats where going to steal the election. This is just trying to string people along until his next prophecy. This is also why the smarter/experienced ones don’t date their predictions. “Soon” gives you a lot more wiggle room when it doesn’t come true.

It seems to be a misguided attempt to be more feminist. Sinfest started out as a fairly generic online strip. At some point he realized his strip was somewhat sexist, female characters being drawn for way more cheese cake then male ones. At that point he set out to re balance the strip with an actively feminist viewpoint. And way over shot his goal, ending up in radical feminist turf that is the reverse and more extreme then his original problem.

Both reasons are simply wrong. Conservatives fought every step of the way and religious groups only recently began to accept homosexuals. The decline in church attendance started long before churches began to tolerate gay people and traces the various criminal and social problems of church leaders rather then their acceptance of homosexuals.

I hate then conspiracy theorists mix real threats into their sea of paranoid garbage. Totalitarianism is a real threat right now but it’s not a intentional goal. He is pretty wrong about terrorists. Suicide bombing is a common terrorist attack method. ISIS is actually a bit unusual in that regards, they discourage suicide attacks somewhat because they need an army to build a state.

Your complaining about the wrong part of this being wrong. Bill Gates was a terrible person as the head of Microsoft. He was the head of the company when they where involved in a long battle with Google for some degree of control over the Internet. It’s the jump to some stupid silly revenge plot that would be too implausible for Austin Powers let alone James Bond that is the problem.

Their world view is built around the idea bad looks = bad life/good looks = good life. The idea of an attractive woman having an unhappy life challenges that and they are trying to find a way to rationalize it. In this case there isn’t anything obvious to hang onto so they are just flailing around.
