--there's just small things on the planet that could -easily- change depending on your beliefs. I believe in the great flood, so I believe the grand canyon was formed from it. There is little to no erosion between the layers and this makes sense with them being laid at the same time. Scientists say it was a tiny amount of water and millions of years, I think it was a huge amount of water and mere moments. I mean...look at Mount St. Helens! Friggin thing gave us several hundred feet of sediment in DAYS. Yet had nobody been around to record it, it's almost a given the losers today would be telling you it happened millions of years ago as well.
Another example with the flood is fossils. Most scientists say they must take millions of years to fossilize, but most Christians don't (because most believe the flood caused them). Unfortunately for them though, boots, clocks, and other fairly modern items have been found fossilized in the past years.
In some cases like the last two, it's rather unfair to say the Bible is wrong because it doesn't match with science--because it does! It's just that their theory is the one that gets thrown into the text books because they're the guys who get the final decision.
