The reason Christians shouldn't marry outside of religion is because you belong to God.

What good is darkness to light? What common ground could good have with evil? Absolutely nothing.

Even if you love him, he's a child of satan, not of God. You on the other hand DO belong to God. By marrying him you would be taking in satan for a father-in-law and also be harming yourself. Your body belongs to God and when you have sex with someone, you become one. When two Christians have sex that's fine, but if a Christian and a non-believer become one?

You're allowing the devil to step into places he shouldn't be in.

Now mind you, you did say "but we're not getting married" so that does throw marriage and sex out the window...but then why date? As Pikawho? said, dating is used to find a suitable mate. If you're not dating, then just call it friendship! In fact, it's quite dangerous to call it anything else. You may say it won't lead to marriage, but how do you know? One's heart is an unpredictable thing, if you totally fall in love with this boy, you may run into a serious problem later on.

So personally? I wouldn't date. I wouldn't even call it dating. You can still be friends with him, but I'd pray over it. Make sure the Lord is with you and don't let yourself get too in over your head. We shouldn't give up on people, but you don't want to take the chance of falling away from God or doing something that displeases Him.

--there's just small things on the planet that could -easily- change depending on your beliefs. I believe in the great flood, so I believe the grand canyon was formed from it. There is little to no erosion between the layers and this makes sense with them being laid at the same time. Scientists say it was a tiny amount of water and millions of years, I think it was a huge amount of water and mere moments. I mean...look at Mount St. Helens! Friggin thing gave us several hundred feet of sediment in DAYS. Yet had nobody been around to record it, it's almost a given the losers today would be telling you it happened millions of years ago as well.

Another example with the flood is fossils. Most scientists say they must take millions of years to fossilize, but most Christians don't (because most believe the flood caused them). Unfortunately for them though, boots, clocks, and other fairly modern items have been found fossilized in the past years.

In some cases like the last two, it's rather unfair to say the Bible is wrong because it doesn't match with science--because it does! It's just that their theory is the one that gets thrown into the text books because they're the guys who get the final decision.

Sex before marriage is definitely not good, and to all you immoral people who think it's okay, I'll just laugh when you're forty years old, have STDs, no friends, and ten kids who have the same father/mother but not the other same parent. Premarital sex destroys relationships and lives, and if you don't think so, you must a) not have much of a life to destroy or b) not have any great relationships.

Anyways, most of you that know me know my view on abortion

But is it unconstitutional?

It is.

Do you remember the three basic things that we, as a citizen, are guaranteed? LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

By using abortion, we are, in fact, denying fetuses (I'd rather refer to them as babies) a basic right that they are guaranteed.

So, in fact, abortion is you saying, "Screw the constitution! I don't want this baby to have a basic right!"

Discuss, and don't say, "It's not life, it just has the potential for life!", because you are taking away a right of it any way you cut it.
