Question for all of you to respond to. I'd like to know all of your opinions. Do you believe there are celebrities that have literally, actually sold their souls to achieve their fame and/or fortune?
I personally believe some have. You can point to some specific lyrics in songs, sources for plots in movies, or treks to far aways places to commune with leaders of various false religions.
I think most of the world is already at the mercy of the communists, just waiting until the last great country joins the ranks.

2 ways that I can think of, and I'm sure you know, too.
One by kicking God out of our schools and our government, and by the ones of us who believe in God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob allowing others who do not believe in Him to do the removal of God in our schools and government.
And another way we got to this point is because our government has been so lax in our immigration laws and we have allowed just anyone inside our borders who do not believe in the same God that most of us do who live here, and they have are are in the process of taking over this country. They are going to dominate this country. We know that they have said that is their goal....for America to become a Muslim or Islamic country.
And now they're doing part of it thru children's toys. That is just despicable.
They should have labeled those dolls as being Islamic oriented so the ones who did not want a doll that says islam is the light would not buy it.
That's sneaky and underhanded and Fisher Rice should be called on the carpet for it.
I have a good mind to email them myself and compalin about it, but I'm hoping that those who bought the dolls will do it.
I didn't buy the doll as I have no small grandchildren to buy such a toy for.

Unless there is an overriding reason to go after us, he is going to try and neutralize us one small group at a time, quietly. The intent will be to keep the targets as small and isolated as possible so as not to have enough people screaming for the nation to pay any attention to. Just a steady gagging of ever increasing numbers. It won't take but a few years to effectively shut us down and it won't be until the end that he will have to go after the larger groups but by then their method of mobilizing resistance on a national scale will be long gone.

It is all a guessing game of course, but if 30,000,000 people disappear, and Palin will be one of those taken, based on what I have seen and heard from her actions and words, then the election will have to be delayed for weeks. The economy will take a nose dive. Many people will also be killed on highways, in airplanes, etc. who were unsaved and in the wrong place at the wrong time..... This all will vary depending on what time it is in North America when Jesus comes for us.
I have sleep apnea, so I must wear a c-pap mask to bed every night. The mask has come up with a new trick. Right after I went to bed, the suction broke on the little rubber thingy that goes over my nose. When it did, it made a sound that sounded like a trumpet. I told my hubby not to get excited if he heard that in the middle of the night. I didn't want him to think that the trumpet was blowing for the Rapture, and then be disappointed to find out that it is only my mask.
Eating from the tree of life would have allowed Adam and Eve to live forever in their sin, they had to leave the garden and the tree so they wouldn't eat of the tree of life and then be eternally lost. It was His compassion and His plan for redemption that He caused them to leave.
There IS good news. This is not our home, we are looking for the Kingdom to come and all signs point to our soon redemption. He told us things would become dark before the light. We can take comfort in knowing that, no matter how bad things "look", He is still in control and on the Throne.

Hi all.
We have joined a new church that does not sponsor short term adult mission trips. My husband and I were able to participate in this type of activity in our previous church. We were involved in building churches for new Christians in Mexico.
Can anyone recommend an organization that we could possibly contact to see if there is a good fit for us to fill this gap for us? We are looking for something lasting from one to two weeks. Basic construction is a good fit for us, but we will look at other activities as well. We are interested in a group that is very biblical in its approach. We aren't interested in a broad ecumenical or social justice approach in place of the biblical gospel.
Any and all recommendations are welcome!!

I work with some extreme Obamabots and there have been days when I could hardly stand it. Fortunately, my hours are such that lately I've rarely come into contact them as I'm gone by the time they get in, or if I'm still there, it's not long enough to engage in any conversation. I have, however, decided that if they start with worshipping him I'm going to bring out my Bible and share with them who the REAL Messiah is. I doubt they'll take it to heart, but I can't stand by anymore and watch the worshipping of this man that is going on.
It's not a stretch to see the similarity between Obama and Osama in terms of their ideology and their names are pretty darn similar! Both think that America is inherently bad. Oh I'm sure you'll try to dispute this statement, but Osama sent his buddies to attack our country and Obama's buddy did the same. And there are more similarities, but they've already been well documented. Anyone who wants to see the truth can surely find it here on this forum.
Now you know how I feel...Its frustrating at times to talk to the unsaved about the things of God...There minds and hearts are blinded from recieiving the truth...It is written that the natural man cannot recieve the things of God, because he is spiritually discerned....Talking to the unsaved about spiritual things is sometimes like talking to an animal they hear you, but they just don't understand....Also I have noticed that if you talk to a little kid about God, and then go talk to an adult who considers themself highly educated, and intellectual that the little kid oftentimes can understand a whole lot better than the adult can.

Take tax exempt status from Churches who preach Jesus is the ONLY way. If You thought the Clintons had thugs in their administration, just wait till Obama's folks take over. I'm only 30 years old and my husband is 37. We have so much to be thankful for, and we are. But we have both discussed that we are just ready to get out of this sinful, sad world. For years, I kept thinking things might get better. They just seem to keep getting worse.
Please take this caution in the right way. I too have told my kids about the Rapture, especially when they would ask about their grandparents dying. I told them that I hoped we'd all go to see Jesus without dying.

When my grandmother was a little girl (8?) she and her friend came home from school together to the farmhouse. No one was there, which was very unusual. They went out to the barn, all around the fields, and began to worry that the Rapture had happened and they'd been left.
They ran to Grandma's grandmother's house; it was empty. They ran to the friend's house; it was empty. They ran to Grandma's grown-up sister's house and found Naomi. Phew!
They were absolutely panicked! You may want to address that sort of thing.... My mother said her mother had bad dreams for the rest of her life about 'missing the rapture.'

My son, who is 15, has a school friend (same age, I believe) which he talks to and invites over frequently, and I am just fine with this. But recently I found out (from a parent) that this friend is gay.
The last thing I want is my son to be corrupted into homosexuality. Now my son has never given me reason to believe that he is gay, but it saddens me that I had to go to another parent for this information, instead of my son telling me. Plus, lately it seems that he has been distancing himself from me, so you can never be too careful.
So the last time the friend came over (a few days ago), I kindly asked him to leave my home. The friend complied, but needless to say my son was very frustrated with me. I told him that it was just something he'll understand when he gets older, and that he'll appreciate me doing this eventually. But despite this he was still angry (stubborn teenagers), but he'll come around eventually I hope. It's been a few days now and he still seems a little upset.
Do you think I did the right thing? We go to Church regularly, so I thought by now he'd know that homosexuality is a sin. What should I do if my son stays upset?

Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength (paraphrased) and love your neighbor as yourself is supposed to sum it up. Yes, logic can help you see things all sorts of ways, but there is only one way that God sees it and we are supposed to see it the same way. Pro choice is pro murder, there is no other way to look at it that is correct in God's eyes. Just pray and be sure you can stand in front of the Lord and explain your vote to Him and you'll be ok.

If I may 'Mopsie", it is a lie, for this or more reasons. I spent time checking out the MCC, spent time with many gay individual, trying to learn the whys, whats and how comes. So many came from abusive homes, either had an abusive mother or father, or some harsh living situation and I'll try to make this short. It's a lie, as many found love in the arms of someone of the same sex, it's a lie because it's not true love, not the kind God speaks about, and yes it often leads to sexual relations, which is confused as love. I hope I'm explaining this well enough. It's a lie, because you also have Satan out there, telling them they can have God and twist the scriptures to fit their lifestyles, form their own churches and help others to come to believe this stuff, which is a lie. It's very sad. So how do you help them turn, help them repent, surely not by attacking them, which I'm NOT saying anyone here is, but like I've said before and many think it's the only deadly sin, there are others, but homosexuality sure seems to be the top sin, by many. So many of gay lifestyle are pushed further away and not brought into God's light or truths or God's love for that matter. I know many of you didn't see a reason to boycott when so many companies are members of the Gay and Lesbian Board, but it really was a very good teaching tool with my kids about standing up for what we believe in, even when that means foregoing the Star Wars Happy Meal toys.
