I've never been to NO [New Orleans], but my husband has and my grandparents have. My grandparents said that there were areas of the city that you could literally FEEL evil.

New Orleans has long had a very dark, demonic air about it. It's quite heavily into voodoo, incantations, tarot, ouija, etc. It's like a mainland Haiti. I had a demon spirit attack me in this way where I was frozen. Even my voice didn't work and I started to rebuke in the name of jesus in my concience mind since my voice wouldn't work. My voice came back quickly and I started to rebuke it aloud and the thing left quickly.

God never answers a prayer that is against his will. If I pray that some hot guy would ring my doorbell today so I could have an affair (which I would never pray, but this is just an example) he wouldn't answer that because it would be bad for me. Similarly, if God was sending the hurricane to bring people closer to him, he would bring the storm with full severity no matter what we prayed. Perhaps he is able to achieve the same effect with the storm that he did/is sending.

When we were hit by 3 hurricanes last year, I didn't think God was directly judging us for anything, rather I saw it as HIM preparing us for what we are getting ready to take others through. [...]

When all of our trees fell on the guy's house next door did we judge them? When a glass dish was carefully set on my roof, did I see that as a sign from God (YES) that HE is in complete control? Now I know we can be at peace knowing that HE can calm the storm and take us where HE needs to take us.

Praying for those who are about to experience this storms fury and that they are conversing with Jesus Christ. Everyone who does not know HIM needs to cry out to him, or this storm will toss them about until God gets their attention.

I can't help wondering if these base closings might one day be used to keep all the unwilling people that don't take the mark. I mean they have to have some way of keeping tabs. Reminds me of future prison camps. Maybe I read to much.

In answer to the question why not accept their [pagan] help? If you do, you are making them more legitimate and putting more people at risk of following a very bad agenda. We as Christians don't want to not talk or interact with the lost but we must be careful to not let a group that wants to make inroads into a community by working in someone else's charity and in the long term do nothing but hurt themselves and others. I don't think their motives are as noble as they want us to think.

Well If the court wants to rule atheism as a religion then we should find out what the tenements of the faith are. I would venture to say that evelution would be one of the beliefs of atheism and if that is the case then why are my hard earned tax dollars going to the schools to teach this religion if the church and state are to be separate?

Hmmm there is a way to fight everything isn't there I wonder if anyone has a list of what they believe. For every religion to be a relgion one main factor in that is how we as humans got here on the planet the others are what the beliefs as a whole are and how they are addressed.

So I bet if we were to investigate further we would find with this ruling and based on it we are having a religion forced on us in our government and in our schools by not allowing other faiths equal access to the same beliefs that No Prayers should be said is accomodating the athiest faith. Does that make sense.

Because atheists are now considered a religion and part of thier religion is to say there there is no prayer to a g-d that doesn't exisit in essence is saying we are now following the athiest view or religion when we open a meeting with no prayer or there is no prayer allowed in the school.

We need to fight that way. Weed need to attack the Absurd with the Absurd. If Atheism can be defined and recognized as a religion this is a huge break through for the christians because they now have a fight they can fight on the same grounds as the athiests have fought on.

I think it's sad that a Christian Bible teacher believes the world is "overpopulated". I think it's especially sad that the Word of God is being used to defend the "overpopulation" theory. IMO "overpopulation" is a lie of Satan and it's sad to see so many Christians believing this. For one thing no one can say for definite how many people will be on earth in 400 years time (assuming the Lord hasn't returned by then). I read where back in the 70s it was thought the earth would have a population of 8 billion by the year 2000 but it was in fact 6 billion. Plus by claiming there are too many people sounds as if God made a mistake by creating so many people and as we all know God never makes mistakes. Also, as one previous poster said "overpopulation" is used to promote abortion along with many other evils. Anyway even IF the world is "overpopulated" the events of Revelation will certainly solve that problem!

There's too much evidence and reliable testimonies not to accept the belief in UFOs - only they aren't UFOs - they're evil satanic demons!

I've been thinking about health and saved versus unsaved. Do you think those of us that suffer due to mental or physical problems are more likely to turn to God than those that are relatively healthy in both respects?

I just wonder if we should be praying more of thankfulness for our trials because they get us closer to the Lord. Would you rather be super healthy and unsaved or vise-a-versa?

This will break my daughter's heart. She lives in Florida and wants to be a marine biologist. I'm glad our Lord promises to restore the earth in His Kingdom. God places Himself into a "box". He describes in limited detail of who He is. One box He has place Himself in is Justice. He is a Just God and that Justice must be satisfied. He further narrows that box by saying that the only satisfaction is the Blood of His own Son as payment for sin and our total acceptance and reliance on that and that alone for salvation. He cannot and will not change this. If He did He would cease to be God and all life would be consumed.

I am becoming increasingly worried over the affairs of the world.
With all the threats from the Muslims, I hear they have 9 cities targeted for nuclear attacks. I'm just worried about all of it.
I've started copying articles off that I find here on RR and taking them to work to leave lying around for my co-workers to read.

Just because people are praying in the room doesn't mean that the government is forcing Christianity on anyone. If those same individuals do not want Satan in the room with them, they should have that right. Common sense should prevail, but alas there is no common sense left.

While it's true that the Mall itself is not salvation threatening, they certainly have some pretty bad stuff in some of the stores.....Even some of the advertising can be disturbing. Take for instance, at Gadzooks, they were changing "styles" and they had a poster up in the window that said "Who needs men?" It had a tube of lipstick with the lipstick extended and two round make-up pads on either side of the lipstick. Now, think about that for a second...I don't have to have a dirty mind to figure out what that stands for. I think that is wrong and it was right out there in mall and we are just supposed to walk by it and be ok with it. I'm not...and I complained.

People need to see the brutality of abortion. What really needs to be done is for someone to dumpster dive for aborted fetuses, if they weren't incinerated (obviously), and string up as many as you can in little nooses outside an abortion clinic. This would be done at night. Make sure you get 'em high up so you need a ladder to get them down. You could even stretch razor wire around the area to make it hard for anyone to clean it up without some serious effort. A couple gallons of fake blood all over the ground and on the building would be added for even more effect. Then be sure to tip off the news so they get there before anyone else. This would really get the point across...
