I recently had the great pleasure of hosting Mathew Crawford who painted a thorough picture of the structures of power, Scientology networks, trance-mediums, intelligence agencies and cybernetic dungeon masters that have influenced our recent 60 years in ways you that may surprise you.

Mathew Crawford argues that Jeffrey Epstein’s network and the CIA’s Project Stargate (remote viewing) are linked parts of the same intelligence, cult, and mind-control ecosystem rather than separate stories.

He draws on his own upbringing in the Association for Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce / neo-Theosophy circles), and explains how children there were raised as potential “psychic super soldiers” for apocalyptic agendas, which he later rejected. He treats official remote viewing as largely a fiction that grew out of Scientology and Theosophy, themselves shaped by U.S. military intelligence (especially Naval Intelligence). In his view, Stargate functioned as cover and continuation of MKUltra-style trauma-based mind control, not genuine paranormal research.

He maps overlapping people and institutions: Theosophical and New Age networks, Stanford Research Institute work that fed into Stargate, figures such as Brock Pierce (Epstein’s crypto adviser, Tether co-founder, and Theosophy-adjacent), media and “roundtable” projects that tried to recruit Crawford himself, and broader elite circles interested in transhumanism, genetics, AI, and cybernetic social control. Epstein’s operation, in this framing, sits at the intersection of blackmail, elite networking, scientific/transhumanist projects, and the same occult-intelligence currents that produced Stargate.

The talk is informal and wide-ranging (personal history, pandemic-era research that first brought him attention, mind maps of connections). The core claim is that both stories serve a long-running effort at population-level psychological and institutional control rather than isolated sex-trafficking or psychic-spy programs.
