Highly unlikely we are breaking the cycle. And I’m an optimist. The only way to break this cycle is to “escape the planet” and then we’re just starting a whole new cycle for a whole new planet with the same tumorous species as a variable. I can’t figure it out myself but something tells me this is due to the same factors that put 99% of the wealth into 1% of the population.
