The only “question” here concerning race is one that’s just been getting more and more confusing across a span of centuries.
They aren’t the questions of how much does anyone have to contribute to the development of civilization before it penetrates your skulls, or how long you’re going to be afraid of a collective revenge whilst continuing to give good reason for wanting revenge only for people to prefer to just get on with their lives and improve on them, or how many have to die to secure for you the rights you deny to them before they’ve “earned” them, or why the same actions keep getting judged on entirely different metrics so that no matter what you can invent a grievance and a reason you feel you are owed something while invalidating the same for anyone else…
The question for me is this:
How long are you going to keep polishing the turd of the spectacular failure of white supremacy or any other notion of a hierarchy of race before you realize it is a turd?
Colonial authority went to shit, The Confederacy went to shit, the Reich went to shit, and they kept trying to pull everyone down the drain with them. Every time they tried to find someone new to blame for it all going to shit but you know what stayed the same? The central ideology. The solution always being to purge people and to use war as a short sighted cure-all. And the kicker? They’re responsible for more white death than any inter-ethnic conflict.
It’s like watching the Hindenburg explode and be rebuilt repeatedly and the backers insisting that if they screen out certain passengers or crew then things won’t end in disaster again but never think there might be some inherent risk in using volatile hydrogen swearing with blind religious fervor that it is central to the operation thus any substitutes would somehow permanently reduce the maximum speed and altitude any future vehicle would reach and any appearance to the contrary, even empirically measured, was only an illusion that would collapse over time. And then after repeated losses of life and complete financial ruin, the financiers begin open and literal corporate/industrial warfare bombing railways and airstrips to force zeppelin travel to become a standard in a last ditch attempt to prevent them disappearing even though air travel has since progressed past the limitations of the zeppelin’s design and locomotives were preferred for entirely different purposes. And losing. And a hundred years later lamenting that the perfect form of travel that is somehow superior to the even further development of aerospace technology was maliciously sabotaged by competing industries and demanding a revival of the Hindenburg but this time with only the purest of hydrogen, banning anyone left handed from flying, and with designated smoking areas because tradition demands it.
Aversion to self harm is supposed to be ingrained at such an instinctual level that even people suffering the kind of trauma that leaves them with the inability to form new memories and could not possibly be cognitively aware that they’re repeating a pattern that has hurt them before will reflexively begin to fear and avoid elements of the pattern. White supremacists lack this capacity both in daily practice and with the benefit of external record. The most rudimentary of survival instincts and it is impaired in racists to a degree that would be comical if the consequences weren’t continuous acts of genocide and inept governance directly resulting in entirely preventable deaths and social unrest, which generally inspires rebellion and with it brings even more death on the same scale as a genocidal campaign.
