They all were born some time in the past. Using ‘baby’ about a pre-birth baby-to-be is done to evoke mental images of post-birth babies even if you’re dealing with a pregnancy in its first trimester, to get people to think there’s a fully formed, sentient and self-aware mini version of an infant in the womb.

Now you are just being obtuse!. When they are BORN, they are called children or babies, not fetuses. Embryo and fetus are the developmental stages of a future baby inside the womb. To call a pre-born embryo or fetus “baby” is what’s emotionally-charged, you blithering imbecile! An embryo can’t come and sit on your lap.

When you were notified that your son/daughter were pregnant, did you say “I AM a grandfather!” or “I’m going to BE a grandfather”? Did they say “I have a child” or “I’m EXPECTING a child”?

My spontaneous abortion didn’t kill a baby (or an embryo). The embryo had probably begun to regress around week 7, and by week 11, there was nothing left, just a small empty sack.

An embryo isn’t “legally” alive, as it has no functioning nervous system. If it’s not alive, it can’t be killed. That’s why it’s called “removing an embryo” or “terminating a pregnancy”.

You know, Roger, using a related word with a completely different meaning is still lying… Case in point, the medical defintion of a “fetus” is completely different from that of a “baby”. Just as how the legal definition of “killing” and “murder” are also completely different.

So, in short, killing a fetus is NOT murdering a baby by any definiton. And you know it, because we’ve told you morons more than enough times already.

It makes me shiver a little bit that Roger has 11 grandchildren. That means not only did he procreate but the family tree is positively booming.

They are not babies until they are born.
