If masks don't work in controlling germs: why are they worn during surgery...?!

Soros: My plan is working! I have proved to the world people will obey me!
Henchperson: Uhh, sir, we can’t use facial recognition software anymore… you know, the thing we were last using to take over the world?
Soros: Blast!
In all honesty, masks are not gonna make us into compliant slaves. The whole myth about the frog in slowly boiling water is false, because as the water gets hotter, the frog tries harder and harder to escape. If the government starts throwing in genuinely unfair rules, then we will begin to rebel.
HauntU …After I’ve died because I didn’t wear a mask in the middle of a pandemic and have been sent back as a ghost to fix my mistakes.

If masks don’t work, why use them? I mean, it’s one thing to see who uses masks on the street, but do they continue to mask up in the offices?
If people get the Plague and die, we don’t know if they masked or not, and we don’t know if they wore them under the nose, or took them down when they had conversations (really bugs me when they do this at the supermarket), or sang, or whatever.
It’d make MORE sense if masks did work. Then we get better numbers of effective use , misuse, and non-use. PLUS, a bigger percentage of ’didn’t listen to us die during the screening process!
Confused?
