Blue Check marked CNN reporters are on twitter saying if Trump nominated a SCOTUS to “burn it all down”
not one or two or ten. They are promising riots if he nominates.
I was surfing the internet first thing this morning and stumbled across a Smith and Wesson AR-15. I put my phone down for the hour to make sure it wasn’t a impulse buy. Ended up purchasing it and it gets delivered FFL arms dealer this week. Bought ammo.
2 hours later RBG announced dead and I went back and the AR-15 is sold out at that store so glad I moved.

I’m very skeptical of this claim.

I’m gonna take an unpopular stance here and say that if Trump wins despite being one of the least popular presidents in history, and without the popular vote AGAIN, after all his lying and illegal activities, there’s something wrong with our democracy and it must be rectified. Impossible to do with a government ran by Donald Trump, so… you do the math.

I like the idea of ordinary people arming themselves to defend against the government. I hate the idea of ordinary people arming themselves and attacking cities to help cops crush riots, and I don’t give a shit how many Arby’s burned down.

A lot of conservative, gun-toting trumptowns talk a big game without meaning it.

If it’s any consolation, I agree on the fact that the US’ democracy system is clearly broken by now. Trump has been filling all the important posts meant to keep him in check with his “friends” and sycophants, and he’s allowed to do it because most of the Republican party is soullessly corrupt.
And even IF Trump won the last election fairly, I’m pretty sure presidents have been threatened with impeachment and discrimination for faaaaaaaaaaaar less worse things they’ve done in their entire career than Trump does in a week.
Trust me, I know what it’s like to lose faith in democracy; even worse since I know it’s the best system we have aside from a “benevolent dictatorship”, but such a thing sadly cannot, by very definition, exist.

Trump has lowered the bar for politics, and democracy and freedom will suffer whatever he outcome of 2020. Even if he’s beaten in a landslide, leaves peaceably, and answers for his crimes in a New York court, Pandora’s Box is open. It’s pretty scary I think, scarier still knowing that a large portion of America’s public CHOSE this. If there was a better way than democracy I’d take it, too.

I’m going to have to agree with kos, the webmaster of DailyKos. The reason the Republicans are rushing to get this seat filled is because their numbers are telling them the same story we’re all getting from the polsters; a large majority in the US HATE Trump, and are pissed at the Republican Party for refusing to stop him. All the numbers are pointing to not only a MAJOR Trump loss, but the Republicans losing the Senate as well. If you look at it from that viewpoint, rushing makes sense; they may not be able to do it after the election…

I wish I could be confident of this loss. Of course of the democrats run the house, the Senate and the white house would it mean much with a far right Supreme court?
This is 2020 the worst year ever. Trump will win. Why because this is hell. Prove me wrong and vote out Trump.

They could impeach the justices that Trump appointed.
Confused?
