Highly unlikely we are breaking the cycle. And I’m an optimist. The only way to break this cycle is to “escape the planet” and then we’re just starting a whole new cycle for a whole new planet with the same tumorous species as a variable. I can’t figure it out myself but something tells me this is due to the same factors that put 99% of the wealth into 1% of the population. With resource allocation like that, simply put we are just doing another round on the hamster wheel. Humanity would need a MASSIVE coming together as a species for it to be any other way. Love thy neighbor, is it so hard people?!? Take it for what it is but it starts by helping all others get ahead instead of just self and kin.

I often think back on the Library of Alexandria and all that was lost in that fire. Which begs me to ask, should all knowledge be stockpiled or disseminated? Why couldn’t there have been more copies made? Also ,and personally I’m glad they’re gone, but how did you feel about the GA Guidestones? Clearly they were an attempt at just what we’re talking about, preserving knowledge for after our impending cataclysm.

We should be a two planet civilization.
The cycle resets here. It probably comes back stronger. The elites may know how use that stronger cycle era to rebuild. (Assuming the elites can survive in this stronger cycle without adapting into it naturally of course..)
They'd have no reliable record to determine what they're in for living on another planet. That can't be a long term goal simply because of an ELE. Short term has gotta be moon bases. They're coming back here. (Assuming their return crafts can withstand the new cycle that they can only guesstimate on now)
Would it be harder for them if everyone that makes it through natures wrath is fighting holy wars? Highly doubt it. Bad for everybody.
