[It’s Over] Got brutally Mogged at the swimming pool by a kid

Today at the swimming pool a kid, probably a future Chad (a white, blonde kid btw), was swimming in the line next to mine and that little brat was swimming like a fish. All four strokes, including the butterfly, with impeccable technique.

I could swim faster than him, but not by much and above all he could seemingly swim as long as he wanted, while I had to make pauses every 50m or so.

He was probably around 10, definitely not a teenager yet.

And I thought I was actually getting good at this. Yeah, right, just an other discipline where I’m just deluding myself.

Dude, this isn’t the only place you’re deluding yourself…

I say to that lad: continue with your swimming. You could even represent your country in, say, the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

And mog this manbaby even more.

Kids at their worst can be truly vile. The kid described in the quote, however, was basically just existing and doing his own thing.

The fact that this bloke comes home and cries about it over his computer means infinitely more than some kid being potentially a better swimmer.

Women just existing while not caring to sleep with them sets off their self pity, so I suppose being upset about children just existing while doing something better than they can isn't exactly unexpected.

Dude, if you want to be better at something, practice. Or not. Nobody has to be good at everything. Nobody has to beat some random child they don't know at everything. Maybe the kid just swims all the damned time.
Don't just whine that someone can do better.
Imagine if I whined about professional ballet dancers any time I watched them practice or perform.

Really? You're undermined by a kid? Focus on your own stuff and ignore him.

As long as you were enjoying your swim, that’s it! You’re not competing in the Olympics, which have been cancelled this year, for the first time since WWII. Jealousy may be a curse, but your jealousy of a kid is pathetic.
