God's moral code is the only one I honor. Not yours.

It's the only one you will be judged by.

Right and wrong isn't subjective. It's objective. And, I don't "decry" coercive force to enforce laws based on God's moral standards. Why would I?

Tell me, how would it hurt you if gay marriage was illegal, AGAIN, like it was only 4 years ago? How would it hurt you if LGBT was outlawed AGAIN, like when I was young?

There was order back then. Now it's virtual anarchy.

As I said, the founding generation outlawed these things, and they were outlawed in the US for around 200 years without any problems. Then people like you came along and opened Pandora's box. And the evil just keeps on coming with no chance of putting it back in that box.

Why are you defending evil?

It’s really interesting to me that the people Brian battle with are far more polite to him than they have any right to be, whether it’s PJ Media like this or Christian News Network. I mean no one ever says to him “I hate you so much I’d like to shit all over your face Brian” and it’s to their credit they don’t, even if tempted, because it’s really satisfying to see everyone else behaving better than people calling themselves Christians.

If I remember my history, weren't the "founding fathers" the outlaws?

The first four commandments are all about how to worship Him, like some insecure Narcissist, then honor your parents, and THEN comes the more logical ones, like don’t kill, don’t steal, don’t lie, that ought to be first in any sane list.
Tough shalt not kill, unless they live on land that you want, or are unruly children, or work on the Sabbath, or fail to prove to be virgins on their wedding day (which, incidentally, can’t be proven), or are born gay, or don’t want to impregnate their brother’s widow, or…

Nah, I don’t’ give that much for God’s moral code, Bri-Bri.

It is VERY subjective, what’s right and wrong, depending on who you are, where you are, how old you are, whether you’re a man or a woman, whether you’re God’s chosen people or not.

So, you’re happy to force your moral code - I mean God’s moral code - down other people’s throats?
What if they did the same to you, with their god’s moral code?

It won’t hurt me or you, but it will hurt gay people significantly. As I have friends and colleagues who are gay, I would see the harm first-hand and I would be sad on their behalf, so it would impact me too.
Oh, and gay marriage wasn’t illegal in all of US four years ago, it was just deemed unconstitutional to make it illegal four years ago.

I would feel harmed because i have a gay son. I do not like to think that his options can be limited for reasons limited to other people's religions. I also have an interracial marriage, which was also illegal when i was young.
Thus i do not want to see the US slide backwards into any age where the laws had a religion-only basis, and served no secular benefit to society.
I mean, you go back far enough, slavery was legal, which is also okay by the bible's code, and to coin a phrase, fuck that shit.

For a while, yes. The Continental Army was routed till Saratoga if I remember correctly.

It would hurt me personally about as much as revisiting apartheid, outlawing religion, or executing everybody with red hair. By being so morally repugnant as to make me physically ill and normalize applying moral relativism to human rights which would make it easier for someone in the future to justify something that actually would directly affect me, like rounding up everybody that hasn’t sworn fealty to radical Islam, for example.

Right and wrong aren’t subjective, you said so yourself but clearly meant jack shit by it.

If gods moral law is the only one you follow, you should be putting a lot of effort into closing those camps as per Leviticus, not having public prayer and more empathy for the poor as per Matthew, slaughtering cities if there is an unbeliever as per Deuteronomy.

Sorry, I searched the site for it before I submitted because I know you and I have been both submitting Brian’s droppings. But I didn’t see it here.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you don’t follow state & federal law, claiming that you only follow “God’s Law” (dishonest as you are about that) won’t save you from prison.
Especially since “God’s Law” insists that you kill rape victims who don’t scream loud enough to stop the attack, stone disobedient children to death, and murder entire cities - including children & newborns - if even one person who lives there doesn’t believe the way you do.

Being gay was never illegal in the US. It was socially frowned upon & gay people were discriminated against, but it was never enshrined in US law that being gay was a crime.
And gay marriage was never illegal; it was just never protected by law, so plenty of government officials and sometimes state governments refused to acknowledge gay marriages (despite the fact that they had no laws against someone getting remarried multiple times, or committing adultery, or - in some of the most conservative states - committing bestiality).

The US is not, and never was, a Christian theocracy. Stop trying to insist it is. Move to Uganda, since they seem to have the sort of government you idolise.
