Any person that states they are a Christian and supports Obama better READ the Bible and take a good hard look at their faith. A true, born-again Christian knows that abortion and homosexuality is NOT of God and Obama supports these agaendas. Use your brain and vote McCain.

Ok, But if he wins you will accept his rule right?
After all:
ROM 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
@ A Freind: I wouldn't narrow it down to just that, although I think that does play a large part in all the 'wherefore art thou, birth certificate?' propaganda, and trying to prove he's not a citizen (as well as all the anti-muslim stuff). But I think he's genuinely hated for his "radical" liberal views.
Obama isn't a homosexual and has never had an abortion.
Why does God need to depend on secular authorities to enforce His laws? If He doesn't like these things, He can stop them Himself.
"Use your brain and vote McCain." You must have stayed up all night thinking that little shit ditty up. And if you had actually read your bible, instead of listening to your psycho pastor has to say, you'll realize that Obama shines more the light of jesus than McCain ever could. McCain is honestly a better candidate for the AC than Obama. McCain is all for war and murder and theft and greed and wrath, which are far from biblical christian virtues. Obama, peace, love, acceptance, mercy, kindness, forgiveness; these are the things that I remember jesus teaching. So before you tell christians voting for Obama to read their bibles (which it's obvious they have), maybe you should quit being a judgemental cocksucker and read yours. Bitch.
McCain is a not-terribly-bright man who appears to be lapsing into senility. And his campaign consisted of slurs, lies and mud-slinging. But come to think of it, by your lights that does make him a True Christian®.
Any person who claims to be Christian and claims to speak for God in determining whether another is a Christian or not based on whether they agree with HIS OWN POLITICAL views is an arrogant blasphemer who needs to read the first commandment again and pray real hard for forgiveness for trying to usurp God's place! You have absolutely NO RIGHT morally or spiritually to place yourself between another person's conscience and their God to advance your political agenda Ken. I could just as easily say anyone who claims to be Christian and votes for McCain and his plan to continue Bush's war for big business profit, destruction of the health care of the poor to maximize profits for the rich, and Palin's insult to American morality by having an unmarried, pregnant, underage daughter and hypocritically attacking others in same boat needs to take a hard look at their faith and read the Bible.
I've read the Bible many times. It says nothing against abortion. I does rail against male homosexuality. Fortunately, as an atheist, I am always free to use my brain and not rely upon the "wisdom" of dinkwads from thousands of years ago to make my voting decisions.
Use your brain and vote McCain.
- A rhyming slogan, no less! But I thought you had electronic voting in the US and that brains should be kept in the skull cavity at all times.
- What about: Only the failin' vote for Palin? Or: Vote McCain for Bush all over again!
"Any person that states they are a Christian and supports McCain better READ the Bible and take a good hard look at their faith. A true, born-again Christian knows that divorce is NOT of God and McCain has had one. Use your brain and don't vote McCain."
Jesus specifically spoke out against divorce (Matthew 19:9). He said a great fuck-all about either abortion or homosexuality. Now which candidate is most following the teachings of Jesus?
I'm quickly becoming convinced that embryos are not the only lumps of non-sentient, non-viable, parasitical tissue around. IMHO fundie xtians qualify for that distinction as well, if not better than the unborn they so fervently seek to defend (until birth, of course, after that it's every infant for him/herself)...
This is what the bible says about abortion:
"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
Exodus 21:22-25
And presumably, if the woman's husband wanted the abortion, no punishment at all.
"A true, born-again Christian knows that abortion and homosexuality is NOT of God and Obama supports these agaendas."
How do you know he doesn't? You clearly haven't READ your Bible. Hosea 13:16, and the charming love story of David and Jonathan completely annihilates your argument.
"Use your brain and vote McCain."
This was in 2008. Yeah. That worked out so well for you & your ilk, didn't it?
Vote for Batscat Shelly, Failin & Fuckabee, and FAIL.
The Schadenfreude will be exquisite, as - late next year - your precious candidates FAIL yet again, and Obama gets his 2nd term - then I'll watch with sadistic glee as the Repubicans tear themselves apart. >:D
See you then, Ken. Looky - I can rhyme too! [/sarcasm]

There's David and Jonathan, but there's also Ruth and Naomi. Some sections of the Bible are pretty harsh about male/male sexual relations (or at least some of them -- the language used can be read to imply that only certain sex acts and/or gender nonconformity are objectionable, which is still patriarchal bullshit but not on the same scale), but there's no similar attack on lesbians (except sometimes in translation). Hell, some of the lines between Ruth and Naomi get quoted in (heterosexual) weddings .
Confused?
