Possessive: I need to be needed. I married a very possessive woman and have never regretted it.

I would have little to worry about with a girlfriend like Yuno. I enjoy that level of attention from someone I love and, in return, I would never even dream of straying.

Is why I married a girl who is very possessive. Our personality quirks mesh well together.

She calls me every morning after I get to work, every day at lunch, and every evening on my commute home. I look forward to the calls

There was a period I was not able to be there for her. I went out to sea for a few months with no phone or e-mail access. She had a complete mental breakdown. I left the military to spend more time with her. I would like to think she is a lot more stable now than she was then. I've even encouraged her to go back to college. I'll be helping her with her math homework tonight

I've been slapped, punched, bitten and kicked ..... by my wife ...... for assorted things. Getting bitten is the worst, she won't let go.

She was abusive as she never let me have time with friends she would guilt trip me and make me feel bad.
She even made me ditch a friend by guilt tripping me if i didn't.

Did she ever start throwing knives at her own former best friend just because said former best friend gave you a friendly hug?

Or is it my fault for admitting that I used to have feelings for her former best friend?
If I had been more open with my feelings back then, it's entirely possible I would have married the other girl instead of my wife. I found out much later that she was waiting for me to ask her out and only started dating someone else when I did not. This discussion took place years later when I ran into her at a store, without my wife around, and we started talking. She, of course, had found out about my prior feelings the day my girlfriend tried to kill her, but obviously did not stick around to respond.

Never understood why people stayed with someone who practically says you can't have friends, lol.

Love is complicated. Don't expect any easy answers.

I used to have a lot of female friends, but it's not really an option for me these days.
My wife would turn yandere. Again.
