The 2 types of comments I make that trigger people more than any others are:
1) Pointing out that Leftists suffer from wide-scale demonic oppression.
2) Arguing against continued support for Disney.

“Of course, the reaction I triggered were eye rolls and people laughing at me.”
Also, you forgot “shamelessly shiling my crappy mecha novel as being the bestest and manliest book ever.”
1. Yeah, real fucking weird how literally demonizing a group of people because they have differing political and social views than you seems to piss them off.
2. Criticizing Disney for things like monopolizing, poor business practices, bad decisions, et al. is perfectly fine. Accusing them of covert pedophilia, satanism, brainwashing and “Jewery” makes you a screaming wackadoo.
Someone calling this bullshit is reasonable; as reasonable as, oh say, Yoshiyuki Tomino suing your creativity-bereft ass for biting his style.

And here I was ready to bring up FASA, but when I looked it up, the first Gundam was 5 years before BattleTech. Hmm, seems our Chicago boys did some cribbing off of Japan there in the 80s. Not a bad crib, though.
The two things that trigger Bri:
1- He & his boyfriend VD can no longer trigger voters at Worldcons
2- His ripoff of "Gundam" will never so much as rake in thousands : unlike the billions made in sales of anime DVDs/Blu-Rays, manga, model kits etc every year, thus no wonder Bandai Namco bought that franchise
3- ?????
4- PROFIT!
We are rich in the Schadenfreude this gives us.
And your constantly being triggered 24/7/365: otherwise you wouldn't so much as think of whining the way you do, least of all begging people to buy your unoriginal BS, is that gift which keeps doing so, Bri.
@KZadBhat
Although I've noticed that a few of the mecha in "Battletech" resemble those used by the Zentraedi in "Macross", which is a bit later than "Gundam": which started in 1979. And of course it was "Robotech" which is one of the reasons why Anime became popular in the US.
You're still standing on the shoulders of Queadluun Rau battlesuit pilot Klein Klan (in "Macross Frontier"), Bri: when she's in Micronised form.
Dream on! I don’t believe in demons, unless it’s demon bowlers and the Melbourne Football Club. And although I’m a bit old for Disney movies, his work is still a household name more than 50 years after his death, with kids born well into this Millennium, you should be doing so well.
However, thanks for the LOL!
Point 1 is on the same level as “Have you stopped beating your wife/child yet, Brian?”.
As to No 2; not accusing them of some stupid conspiracy nuttery is not “support for Disney”. We accuse them of real things, like being bad employers.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
