I am currently in the UK on vacation (originally from here but have lived in the US for 25+ years). When my plane landed in Manchester yesterday, the cabin crew asked the passengers to remain seated bc "one of your fellow passengers has to be escorted off the plane". A burly policeman then appeared in the doorway. I had a mild panic wondering if the fact that I liked most of Graham [Linehan]'s tweets and have supported his legal fund financially, as well as subscribing to this Substack, was an offence? Turned out it wasn't me they were after. But it's a shame when we have to worry about it.
