Explanation: James Lindsay (of the Sokal Squared hoax fame) recently claimed that antisemitism on the right is a result of Jews “embracing the religion of Wokeness” and came under fire for it. Lauren tried to defend him by saying that “increasingly” the behavior of individuals is seen as reflective of the racial/religious group as a whole, and claims that some on the right “are developing” anti-Semitic beliefs because of “woke” Jews.

Nope, anti-Semitism is older than the concept of "wokeness", "political correctness" or whatever buzzword the right is using this week. These guys just blame Jews because they're one of the few minority groups who can be perceived as having a significant level of power (due to them being stereotyped as dominant in banking and the media), and one of the few groups it's not okay to shit on outside goosestepping, sieg heiling circlejerks.

James Lindsay’s entire Twitter feed since he posted his first comment about Judeo Bolshevism, sorry, I mean, uh, Woke Jews, has been a massive gold mine of racist quotes. The Intellectual Dork Web isn’t having a good week.

Is this a rehearsal of the myth of “Jewish-Bolshevism” blaming Jews for Communism?

Oh right. I thought is was because right-wingers are just a bunch of racist, inadequate, little khazirim - and we know who’s fault that is.

They see the acts of individual as representing the entire group. And then bitch when people see these two talking, and suddenly scream “kill whitey” at them. These fucking idiots will never understand that they actually just laid out the reason people are pissed at them.

I mean, back in Nazi Germany, the Nazis banned pretty much every form of modern art - and then set up touring exhibits of what they call degenerate art to justify their oppression of (Jewish) artists, parading it around as proof that modern Jewish ideas were eroding ‘traditional German values and society.’ Saying things like “some Jews have subversive ideas so it's only logical that we become anti-Semites” is a proud tradition on the right.
