This game (DDLC) has inspired a great cult following of anime lovers and other sickos. Satanic treachery has led to its immense popularity with young people and this is a worrying trend as Monika spends the last part of the game denying the divinity of Christ and questioning the very nature of God. Monika says “ I started to wonder why God was helping people pass exams, or get over a cold...When there are children who live their lives being sold as sex slaves.”This started to wonder why God was helping people pass exams, or get over a cold..." "...When there are children who live their lives being sold as sex slaves. This wicked questioning of the nature of God is likely to resonate with young millennials and zoomers who are becoming increasing more secular due in part to sinful “entertainment” corrupting the minds tot the youth and leading to irreparable harm.

It could only lead to irreparable harm if the question posed was a problem to the nature of a certain diety. "The Problem of Evil" only really applies to any religion that meets a few of criteria.
1. There exists a vastly more powerful god(s) than their opposition.
2. The vastly more powerful god(s) are particularly benevolent.
3. The vastly more powerful god(s) want evil gone.
Zeus, for an example, wouldn't be bothered by the "Problem of Evil" because not only is Zeus not all that particularly benevolent, he doesn't really want evil gone. Hell, he was the one who was behind unleashing them with Pandora's box.
Yahweh certainly has a problem with it though because he is supposedly omnibenevolent and omnipotent, which makes him leagues above his only competition, Satan. It is far more telling because both the reward for meeting some requirements AND the end goal of all existence would be heaven. Jesus comes again, New Heaven, New Earth, live forever with the Trinity in bliss. Unless you are unfortunate to have gone to hell, in which case Eternal Torment. It's not even a matter of free will (the usual go to to explain evi), because apparently that isn't a problem in heaven so there could have been super awesome fun times for everyone always, but nah.
That's why it's easy to find fault with a deity that "could" stop someone from being forced into sexual slavery, is supposed to "want" to stop anyone from being subjected to that, but allows it anyway.
"This wicked questioning of the nature of God "
Yep. That's traditional apology.
Can't actually answer the question, so thry blame the person for asking it. How dare we have an 8ssue with the god-story not adding up, not reflecting tge world we actually see around us!
This is a big part of why i left The Church....

Good. If your deity cannot intro scrutiny, it’s a fucking cosmic horror, is what it is.
“sinful “entertainment” corrupting the minds tot the youth”
And pray-tell whatcha gonna do about it, you pearl-clutching little psycho?
God? I hit him with omnislash, then followed up with meteor, ultima, and Knights of the Round. Yeah, he's pretty much toast. He dropped a Holy materia, which was pretty cool.
questioning the very nature of God
"DDLC!"? id... er, I mean I'd say the second of two recent DLCs does infinitely worse than what you subjectively think a mere parody of Japanese VNs supposedly represents. Clues given via a series of 'Codex Entries' found dotted around the various stages in not only the main game released a year before, but with references to the previous release four years ago. The big revelation in that 2nd DLC. Rendered via a new games engine by a company co-formed in the early 90s by an Atheist: John Carmack. What their genre - and industry- defining game created: all leading up to that last year & said DLC several months ago:
"DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part II": by id Software.
Better sit down, little Stevie-boy. Because what I'm about to tell you re. that DLC's revelation will cause irreparable harm to a tot like you:
Satan is God .
You think players of a satire of a certain type of game is a 'Cult'?! Oh, you sweet summer child.
The series of "DOOM" games is infinitely more than that, little boy: just as the first one was played by a boy in the 90s: Clint Basinger. The influence that had on him: to collect old computer games, including the rest of those by the company created by Carmack. Last year, id gave him a review code for "DOOM Eternal" by surprise because they knew he was an enthusiast of all things id Software, thus he reviewed it on his YouTube channel 'LGR'. He's mentioned a couple of times that he goes to church.
How does that grab ya, Steven Arse: a game which ends with the revelation that God is the Evil One: and it's biggest fan is a Christian .

You know, it’s funny. People like Steven R. and Paul Bury and such always complain that video games are not “christian enough”. But when games such as Doom or Darksiders or DMC or Bayonetta come out, all clearly inspired by Christian mythology in various ways, they complain that said games are “anti-christian” and not “family friendly”…
Make of that what you will.

The difference Paul Bury claims to love games. I think he wants free games. I think he wants the big companies to treat his site like a legitimate gaming news site and send him review copies, yet videogame company see though his scam. They send him nothing and so they must hate all Christians.
Timjer well with most Japanese games that use Christian elements this way because Japan just sees Christianity as another mythology. And well that really pisses people off. Something like the SMT series which doesn't go for good versus evil but Order vs Chaos with both sides being equally amoral is a good example. There the Christian teachings feel similar to stories in Greek mythology. Humans are pretty much just playthings to the whims of Gods and Monsters.

True, but somehow I think that even if an American company were to make a biblically-accurate game (and a decent one with good graphics, acting, & gameplay) they’d still complain that it would “disrespect god” and is not “family friendly”. Despite the fact that the bible is not necessarily a child-friendly fairy tale by itself.
My point is primarily that you just can’t please some people because they keep moving the goalposts.

I mean, isn’t that what the Old Testament is about in the first place? That all humans are vermin cowering at the feet of YHWH’s whims and Satan’s rebellion, trying desparatly not to get squashed? I’d rather live in Greek or Norse myths than in Old Testament myths. At least in the former the world is still awesome and full of adventure, and the gods can be nice once in a while.
Confused?
