Maybe we should allow atheists to propose a message to post, so both viewpoints are given. They probably won't take us up on it, because their arguments are not as compelling as the truth. That was a great lesson that was visible and valuable to everyone.

I posted this because Guzzman, Nick Halflinger, and I provided responses which were removed by the mods.
Our quotes were from Madison, Reagan, and Jefferson - all US presidents.

The government of the United States is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion
Unless you realise the paradox that just the above quote - and who said that - represents, you may now proceed to make the film "Olympus Has Fallen" a documentary, OP.
For when - in the film "World War Z" - there's a scene where they save from the oncoming Zombie Apocalypse the US Constitution...!
Oh yes, I’m sure religious types would LOVE a quote from Dawkins, Hitchens or Harris up @ their kid’s school! Let alone some of the easily Googled comments of your Founding Fathers, regarding religion.
Rather one-sided, they are.
“Maybe we should allow atheists to propose a message to post, so both viewpoints are given.”
Conservatives historically cannot handle any viewpoint other than their own. Thisis why their arguments against other religions, against atheism, against evolution, feminism, and taking God off the currency always betray stunning ignorance about the other side’s position.
So I have to wonder what in the hell is the actual purpose of this suggestion?
I guess you’d like to pretend you’re the tolerant side? Or open minded?
Or maybe you imagine that any atheist post would be something you could easily refute and pat yourself on the back for?
“They probably won't take us up on it, because their arguments are not as compelling as the truth.”
The lack of any compelling argument is why i left the Church, and eventually Christainity.
Confused?
