Evolution as change over time is no myth. Now the popular Darwinian evolution is full of myth.

It is a magnificent testimony to the evolution of humankind
-Dr. Buzz Aldrin
Question: Why is he a Conservative Christian before, during (because he took Communion soon after piloting the LEM 'Eagle' onto the Sea of Tranquility 50 years ago): and after the reason(s) why he made that quote, o OP...?!
Here is the thing - It’s not “Darwin’s theory” alone any more (even leaving aside the contemporary work of Wallace who came to a similar solution studying a different area of the planet). It has been modified and added to almost from day one through Mendel’s experiments with genes, the discovery and mapping of DNA, continuing fossil research and new discoveries, chemistry research, biology, and many more science disciplines. Darwin’s Origin of the Species , while a pioneering and seminal book is about as relevant to modern knowledge of evolution as Shakespeare’s Hamlet is to modern English.

If Darwin returned now, he would hardly recognize the Theory of Evolution. He would discover that a lot of the things he just speculated about, now have evidence in their favor, like the DNA and other microscopic things. But the whole ToE is nowadays much more complex than it was in his day, and some parts he might not understand at all.
The Darwinian evolution was always about change over time, though, dingbat. So you’re basically saying “A is not B, but A is B”.
Confused?
