A daily walk with the Lord

A daily walk with the Lord means we surrender our life totally to Him.

Nothing can take the place of a daily devotional life with Christ.

It is so important to have our quite time, our prayer time, and the time we spend in the Word of God. This helps us with our walk with the Lord.

We will become stronger and grow. If we draw nigh to God, He will be nigh to us. There is no way we can be a powerful and happy Christian if we don’t walk with God each day.

As we draw nearer to Christ it gives us a desire to surrender our life to Him.

He helps us and gives us a desire to be a help to others.

Happiness comes from a personal relationship with God. We know Him by faith, through grace.

“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God.” Psalm 146:5.

We can’t work our way or buy our way to heaven, God’s Word teaches us Salvation comes as a gift of God through Jesus.

Being a child of God, we need to surrender our life to God and walk with Him daily. And we need to take time to tell others about our loving Saviour and His love for everyone.

So many people talk to themselves these days.

But as said people are walking with the person they're communicating with via their smartphones - at least with the microphone attached to the earphone cord connected to such: if not with the latest Bluetooth headphones/earbuds controlled via touch sensors - who actually exist on the other end of that 4G/5G connection, what's your excuse Pasty Lumbago...?!

And even if they take off said headphones (unless they're IP68 waterproof-rated) during a rain shower, at least they'll be able to put such back on when it stops & the sun comes out: revealing a Rainbow. Y'know what one is, don't you OP? They're those things that don't actually physically exist: but can be seen.

And as they completely destroy the whole concept of the so-called 'Spiritual'/'Supernatural', the fact your 'God'/'J-boy' can't actually appear next to you equally physically to join you on that 'Walk' means you either have less right to spew your BS, or just admit you're delusional.

No, this is the very opposite of “becom[ing] stronger and grow[ing]” - the only thing growing stronger here is your complete dependence on your imaginary friend.

The “love” of your god is utterly corrupt, perverse and degenerate. Possessive, jealous, selfish, co-dependant, smothering all attempts at independence.
But perhaps the worst thing, of course, is that He is not real. You are in an abusive relationship, yet your abusive partner does not even exist outside of your collective imagination!

The day when humanity in general finally outgrows religion cannot come soon enough.

You don't become stronger by being more dependent on God. Dependency is a weakness. Not strength

Yes, this is the standard patter they used to give us, in my parents’ church, for our “inspirational” devotions. Turn it around, make it dog, and it would do you LOT more good - to walk with the dog.
