Personally, i find it weird white people (like myself) cant say nigger when its a word that we created to call them. If theres one group of people that shouldnt be able to say it, its the blacks

Of all the stupid bullshit...
I don't believe in censoring words. When people write "nigger" or "fag" with asterisks, this doesn't change the meaning of the words. But that's not what this clown is talking about: the imbecile seems to think he has exclusive rights to derogatory terms because his people created them. That's so stupid it burns.
It's fucking Burns. I don't even know where to begin with this stupidity.

...yet, r/Ashens is very much alive.
So why is it that the users of a sub about a YouTuber who reviews Poundland Tat etc on a Brown Sofa don't require the use of a certain word...?!
In threads about Dr. Stuart Ashen's appearances on 'Barshens', you're more likely to see mentions of Eli Silverman being 'Very Modular' than about he being Jewish . Question: Why ...?!
...and therefore why hasn't r/Ashens come up on the radar of u/spez?
Actually racists didn't "create" the word so much as early slaveholders were too ignorant, unobservant, dense, disrespectful, self-absorbed, and stubborn to bother properly pronouncing Spanish after doing business with foreign slave traders. This repeated mistake spread into common parlance where people didn't know any better and eventually wound up being reserved for insults as those educated enough to say the Spanish word for black started seeing it as a way of setting people apart and dehumanizing them to use the word almost like a substitute for man, woman, or person as though they were a different species entirely and thankfully started to refrain from doing so but to say it was invented for the purpose is trying a little too hard to give credit where it isn't due and where shame would be more appropriate if it actually were.
It's all very, very stupid. I'd die a happy man if that abortion of language were to disappear entirely before I make it to the grave. You really should not be proud of trying to keep ignorance born of even more ignorance alive especially not to promote yet more willful ignorance.
You can say nigger. Who says you can't say it? You just said it!
It's just, be prepared for the consequences of using the word. Like using 'cunt' in church, or 'gun control' at a GOP rally, or 'surrender' near US Marines, there will be a reaction.
Sounds like you want to use the word as a pejorative, so don't pretend to be surprised by the reaction.
As to blacks using the term, what the fuck do you care? Their use does not prevent nor enable your use of it.
Then black people succeeded in their goal of taking it back.
Anyone whining about something like that doesn’t even deserve to be called human. Why would that bother him, unless of course he’s a flaming bigot who just hates that fact that he can’t scream nigger from his car window without being chased down & beaten in his driveway?
I type it and say it when I use it in context of criticism, not as an insult.
Which is something that's pissed me off for years, Stop avoiding the word, Stop saying, "You shouldn't call someone the N-word" stop typing "Ni**er"
In context is what matters. I'm sick of seeing racists quoted and 'cleaned up'. They're not magic curses or dirty words, they're subject to context and even in the nastiest context they're words.
WOW, you really are dumb white trash! That word was/is an INSULT against black people, esp. African-Americans, which they have now reclaimed in an empowering way. Just as other groups turn insults for themselves around, like wogs, poofs, etc.
So…you can say it, but you might get flattened, like this idiot I saw, who once said it to an Aboriginal bloke.
“Nigger” is a word that developed to denigrate slaves and/or people with black skin, to dehumanize them, spew hatred and contempt over them. THAT is why people, who want to be seen as decent, ought not to use that word.
Black people have taken the word back, to soften the power and impact of the word, to make it their own.
Confused?
